Just a continuance from my other thread what is the overall feeling about Gesicki? He’s looked pretty good without Parker in the lineup and Tua back at the helm. Probably even better if they acquired Watson. What are people paying, buying/selling ?

I'm a contender and in desperate need of a TE, so I'm interested to watch this feed. He is a top 10 TE and still fairly young. In a non-premium league, a late 1st is a very competitive offer.

In non-TEpremium leagues I would say a late 1st gets it done. Maybe even an early 2nd.

The talent is there. But with TEs, it's all about whether they make it over that line that separates the top 5 difference-makers from the 15 guys who may give you a good week or may not. What decides this question is an offense that is built around the heavy utilization of the TE. I haven't watched much MIA this season, but I don't think they are that offense, yet.

As a Dolphins lifer, I've watched a lot of the team this year. Honestly, with the injuries to Tua and receivers and elsewhere on offense, it's impossible to judge what kind of offense is there. I *think* it's the kind of offense that can support a T5TE. I know Gesicki has the talent to be a T5TE if he's in the right system. But no way would I say it's definitely going to happen.
I would easily give up a 2nd to get him. It would be build-dependent about a late 1st.
My valuation of him right now is that I own both Gesicki and Goedert, and now that Ertz is gone I'm still thinking about starting Gesicki over Goedert. Gesicki is around TE7-8 for me right now, but that whole 5-12 range is so close it doesn't really matter to me until guys crack that TE5 barrier.

I went to the Falcons game. I left thinking that fins need to give him another contract. He played big, made some tough catches in traffic and Tua obviously trusts him on 3rd downs and in the red Zone.
I’d easily pay a 2nd for him, maybe even more if he keeps up the current pace.
