I think its important that we also look at the potential indirect impact that this will have on Charles. Not only will Charles NEVER be the same talent wise....but the Chiefs will probably not ever use him as extensively as people would have liked. So not only will his abilities decrease, but his opportunities will be capped....the questions for both is how much? This limits his potential to a high end RB2 in my opinion.

All depends. Look at Gore; 2 ACL surgeries, and those back a few years when methods were a bit less efficient. I guess we will never know, but he seems to be moving around pretty well right about now.
