Traded HUGE for D. White who lead our league in defensive scoring, now sucking in the stat line this yr....

What's your sob story?

My year has just been a scheduling nightmare. Started 1-4 despite being 2nd in points scored and 2nd in all-play record. Was down Dobbins, Jeudy, and CEH so decided to trade Kupp and Hunt prior to this week to hopefully solidify more for next year. Now will have the most points despite missing Kupp’s 30+ this week and move to 2-4. Not sure how to feel anymore.

Needless to say my season is off to a bad bad start.

Losing Dobbins before the season starts.
James White starts playing really well, gets hurt too.
Quintez Cephus might have become the WR3/Flex/trade asset I stashed him for!! HURT.

No worries, I should be fine with my stacked WR room with: Julio Jones, Allen Robinson, Robby Anderson, Elijah Moore.

Also Sam Darnold reverted back to Sam Darnold.

Ill have one if my undefeated team can't cover 6 points tonight with Knox and AJB lol

Same team has lost Dobbins, Saquon, Chark, Samuel, and Irv. Can throw in AJB and Jacobs with missed games and Hunt as well now. Crazy how much luck is involved in this game

Started 2-3 (going to be 3-3 thank god) lost the first two games by 2 points each (CEH fumble one week, Edwards getting a TD called back the other iirc)

Lost Dobbins before week 1, since I've lost CEH, Jacobs has missed time, seems like Swift will be on the injury report all year it seems. I thought I was pretty set with a deep RB core but I guess not...

Not to mention I'm 3rd in points for yet 7th in the standings 🤮

I wish all leagues had unlimited or at least 10 IR roster spaces.

I have a team with 7 good players in NFL IR on a 25 man roster that only allows 2 IR.

Very hard to field a lineup with bye weeks here.

Just alot of inconsistencies or dudes just missing time has done alot to put me at 2-4 (unless Allen scores 80 points for me and my opponent gets nothing out of his DBs).

Josh Allen - slow start in the first couple games
Jacobs - missed time
CEH - has been a headache since the beginning of the season and is now hurt
Henderson - missed a little time
Jeudy - hurt week one
DJM - 20 points in 2 weeks since I traded for him
Godwin - 6 points this week
Waddle - putting up 24 points on my bench this week
Aiyuk - traded for him thinking he'd bounce back nope swing and a miss so far
Lavonte David - going to miss a couple weeks
Myles Jack - hopefully back next week but who knows
Bates - missed a week or 2

Thats just guys that generally end up in my lineup its not including guys like OBJ, Curtis Samuel, Crowder, Cephus, etc.

Edit: well add JOK in there now too with his high ankle sprain.

ARob underperforming and my entire defense having multiple studs in new positions/systems that don't produce now.

No IR spots in our league. Holding Watson, Dobbins, and Etienne; who will almost certainly play a combined 0 games this year.

Early injury to Tyrod Taylor means I've been trotting out Mills since. Cephus injury will likely cost him the rest of the year. Several missed games from Tyrell Williams, Crowder, AJB, and even Ridley.

That's nearly half my team. As others have said above, it will be a challenge during certain bye weeks to even field all healthy guys.

Oh and after a nice 4-0 start (we play 2 games most weeks) I'm now 4-7. We'll keep grinding but already thinking about next year! Such is life in Fantasy football.

Traded Ruggs and Pollard earlier this year for Julio thinking I could get a solid win-now piece to make a run in the playoffs but with Ruggs heating up and Julio now in a soft-tissue injury infinite loop I'm feeling like I traded away a bit of my future for nothing.

Thought this team could make some real noise this year. Arthur Smith screws Ridley all up, Chubb Gibson and Herbert underperform the first few weeks. DK is just fine but doesnt make up for it. I start out 0-4, win big last week, lose this week and im staring at 1-5. First few weeks of the season Ive gotten rid of Chubb Ridley higbee and AB from this team, replaced them with Sutton + and Hockenson+ Now i have 2 firsts and 2 seconds. I like my team in a dynasty sense a little more now, im a big fan of sutton and think Hock will be much better next year with a different Qb hopefully so now my lineup is

Gibson
Alex Collins (yuck)
DK
Sutton
Shepard/Corey Davis
Hockenson

2 2022 firsts and 2 2022 seconds.


Not sure if this team will make any noise next season but i figure if it doesnt then at least ill suck for the stacked 2023 class. Dynasty is brutal and ive been upset this season since i put a lot of work into last offseason just for this to happen. Whatever.

How about an anti-sob story? I think…blew up my team last year for a huge rebuild. Was expecting to be terrible for the next 2-3 years while my guys develop.

Entered the season as a strong contender in one league that took 1.5 years of rebuilding to get to where it is now. 12-team SF league and my opening day roster + depth was:
QB: Russ/Dak/Stafford
RB: CMC/Chubb/Gibson/Edwards/Cohen
WR: DK/Ridley/Jeudy/Chark/Shepard/C Samuel/Reagor
TE: Knox/Fant

Entering week 7 my starting roster is now:
QB: Stafford/Geno
RB: Gibson?/D. Freeman
WR: DK/Ridley?/Shepard
TE: Fant

I've survived until now but won't go far if none of my RBs are healthy.
