I have the first pick in my 12 team PPR keeper league.
In this league, you’re allowed to keep 2 players for a maximum of 2 years before they’re thrown back into the draft.
This year I’m keeping Zeek and Ceedee Lamb
This league awards 6pts per passing TD
The best available for me at the 1.1 are:
Saquon Barkley
Patrick Mahomes
Antonio Gibson
Najee Harris
Tyreek Hill
Players being KEPT in the league (therefore off the board) are:
Cook
Taylor
Cmc
Aaron Jones
Henry
Justin Jefferson
JK Dobbins
Kyler Murray
Nick Chubb
Calvin Ridley
Julio
Waller
AJ Brown
Ekeler
Diggs
I feel like RB is going to get thin by the time I have my 2nd pick…
At the same time, Barkley’s injury is terrifying to think of. Gibson offers a ton of upside this year with Rivera publicly stating that he wants to use him in the CMC role (not to mention the potential of that offense).
At the same time, it’s hard to pass up Mahomes as a keeper for 2 years (this is Zeke’s last year of keeper eligibility). What worries me about Mahomes are his lack of weapons. Anything happens to Hill or Kelce, and he could take a hit…
Could end up with value at QB on the way back as well…
Who should I take with that 1.1?
Good luck to everyone drafting this week!
2 Yr keeper options
Re: 2 Yr keeper options
2 year roll-overs increase the value of rbs even more. The advantage/dynasty value of mahomes is in large part due to him being an asset for a LONG time…but that isn’t true here. The disadvantage of RB (shorter shelf life on your team than other positions) also isn’t true.
In a league like this, I feel you need to go rb

Thanks for the post. For awareness, this should be in the 'Team Advice' forum, not this one.
Either way... I'm with Valhalla. There are a lot of WR's out there to be picked, and with the others keeping the majority of RB's I'd go RB also. I'd probably lean Barkley... if he's healthy by far ahead of Gibson and Najee for the next 2 years.

So hard to get a feel for Barkley’s health…if he were healthy this would be a no brainer, but this league is pretty competitive, so an 0-2 start due to a limited snap count could hurt.
