2.01 Fields or Lance?

For the team below, I am sitting at 2.01 and need a QB since Dak and Justin both have their bye in week 7 and we HAVE to start an active player in every spot, or we forfeit the week.

I can't decide between Trey Lance or Justin Fields... thoughts?

Lance had the massive upside and I would gamble on him.

Lance all day. Better organization and staff. Talent level is pretty even, so the tiebreaker is situtation.

You don't need a QB and especially in a start 1 QB league, go for Lance because I think he has more upside. Could be a real disrupter at the positive if everything breaks right.

This would be closer in a SF league, but in 1QB I'd take the Lance side.

As a 49er and Ohio St fan I'm really torn here. If you need a qb long term I'd gamble on Lance for a few reasons and all of those reasons are Kyle Shannahan. They simply have more stability from the g.m. down to the coaching staff. Jimmy G knows his time is limited and he is playing for another contract to whoever he plays for in 2022 and beyond. I really like Fields, but the gm and coaching staff aren't stable, who knows if the coach makes it through until next year and that could stunt Fields development. Go Lance.
