Flip Saquon Barkley or Build Around Him?

I am in full rebuild mode but a bluebird landed in my lap. I was able to land Saquon Barkley. How does this change my outlook and rebuild?

I'd use Barkley in-season to get a stud WR and/or TE + add to your collection of 1sts

I'd try to get someone in that 2nd tier of young wrs and some 1sts

Shop him for sure. Just put him out there and look for the offer that blows you away. Many have cooled on him but there are still plenty who believe. Don't settle for less than an overpay and worse case you hope he has a healthy year showing some talent off to fire up the market for you later in the season.

Flip him. You don't build around RB's in rebuilds of this magnitude. You need to get a combo of picks and a good young proven WR, IMO.

Based on your build and length of rebuild, definitely make him available to your whole league. Dont force a quick deal and hold until the right deal that helps you the most in your rebuild comes. His value is possibly at one of its lowest currently but is also slowly rebounding, so stay patient in this process.

Agree you will wait for the right deal and sell him. Quality prospects (WR) and picks. Hopefully he shows out when games start and folks get bullish again.

The two early 1sts are big for your rebuild, but I would be hoping for more of a sure thing/solid young piece. It may be a lot to ask, but moving Barkley for three unknowns could backfire.

Agreed. If you try to seek out a better WR than Bateman, yes, it'll be more of a sure thing, but you'll likely have to lose one of the 1sts, or take later picks. It'd be nice to get back a DJ Moore, Higgins, or Aiyuk level WR and 2 early firsts though...

But if you know they're gonna be early picks, or for sure one is then 1.01 and another top 4/5 pick then I'd feel confident pushing accept.
