Good Trade??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Good Trade??

Postby gman6199 » Wed Jul 28, 2021 3:25 pm

Back again with another trade question. I’m in a 10 tram 1Pt PPR that is going SF in 2022. I’m in a rebuild mode and want to content in 2022 or NLT 2023. I’ve been offered this trade:
Give-Gibson, Hurts, G Davis and 2023 early 3rd
Receive- M Thomas, Sermon, 2022 late 1st and 2nd
Is this a good trade for my team and am I getting g good value in the trade.

If I took the trade I would have the following picks in 2022: 1st Rd-2X, 2nd Rd-3X. I would have Five picks in the top 20 picks.

Current roster is:
QB-Hurts, Fields, Mayfield, Jimmy G
RB, Gibson, Dobbins, Drake, Edwards, Mack, Stevenson, Mitchell, Hawkins
WR-Jeudy, Anderson, C Davis, G, Davis, Pittman, E Moore, Crowder, Fehoko
TE-Thomas, Howard, Harris

I need WR help big time and RB depth. Is this a good trade to make? If I received Thomas I would probably be able to pick up another decent WR to give me a decent starting 3 WR group and then draft a decent RB with my early 1st. Thoughts????

With your league going to SF next season and all the risk surrounding Thomas, I don't think this is a great deal for you in a rebuild. Hurts has risk too, but I would rather gamble on a young QB and young RB in SF versus an aging WR that most of the community seems to be completely out on. Gibson has already shown what he can be and Sermon is an unknown in a crowded backfield, albeit with outside. I would hold.

Thats a hold for me since you're going SF and MT's value is in steep decline at this point. Besides, WRs are dime a dozen these days.
Fig Newtons - 12 team superflex .5 ppr, qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, Flex, SF
QB - Dak, Brissett, Purdy
RB - Najee, Swift, J.Robinson, D.Henderson, McKinnon,
WR - M.Thomas, D.Hop, DJ Moore, Miller, G.Davis, MVS
TE - Kittle, Gesicki, Hockenson
Picks: 2023 - 1, 2, 2, 3, 4

Young Newts - 14 team .25 ppr Superflex, qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, wr/rb, OP
QB - Allen, Wilson, Cousins
RB - Chubb, L.Bell, Ingram, K.Johnson, Mack, T.Coleman
WR - M.Thomas, OBJ, Woods, Moore, Godwin, R.Anderson
TE - Gesicki, Witten, Irv
Picks: 2022 - 3, 4, 5

DirkaDirka - 12 team PPR Superflex
QB: Mayfield, Allen, M.Ryan, Bridgewater, Mond
RB: Mixon, Swift, Sanders, Ekeler, DJ, Kerryon
WR: Tyreek, A.Cooper, D.Adams, A-Rob, C.Davis, P.Williams, V.Jefferson, Duverney
