Eno Benjamin Thread

Seeing a lot of negative comments on social media about the ARZ run game (Drake more specifically). Came across some interesting reads on Eno in the summer - obviously he has been inactive for the first 5 weeks. Any chance this guy suits up and gets a few carries? Anything to him? I drafted him late but dropped him. Have a spot now, wanted to get some input.

I drafted him at 3.04 and have been patiently holding, though I'm not expecting much this year to be honest. Seems like it would take an injury to have relevance this year. Who are some other free agents available to fill your spot? Here's another thread on deep sleepers that might benefit this conversation as well:

Eno Benjamin in 2021

Is he poised to see significant PT? Since Edmonds isn't an every down back, he is playing behind Conner. Conner has been super injury prone in recent years. Any chance he blows up or is there truly nothing to see?

Kinda forgot about this guy. It's hard to get too excited since he couldn't even get on the field last year, but if there's a 2021 version of 2020 Myles Gaskin, Eno shares a lot of parallels. I think Edmonds is pretty decent and will get 1st crack at the job. Eno will seemingly have to improve a lot from year 1 to 2 (like Gaskin did) to really push him.

As a Benjamin owner, to be honest am not expecting much. In fact if the Edmonds and / or Conner owner offered me a random 4th right now (I.E. 49-64 in a 16 teamer) I'd readily accept. But if OP is asking about team in signature, would think Benjamin might have a little more value as an Edmonds handcuff than say D'Onta Foreman, assuming Benjamin can be had for free.

I picked him up off the wire during the season last year just to see what happens. If there's no buzz out of camp he'll likely not make my roster. But I figure I might as well hold onto him to see if anything develops.

He's definitely not being talked about much though. Which probably isn't a good sign.

Might be a decent end of roster stash if one of Conner or Edmonds go down but could also be just camp noise - should have a better idea after some pre-season usage. :)

FWIW, AZ beat writer has Jonathan Ward as RB3 on his latest AZ depth chart. Eno is 4th.

I'm back and forth on Eno as a deep league total dart throw. That whole backfield is a head-scratcher and now they add Ito Smith on top of it?

I dropped him when waivers opened for the TE Harris from LAR. Guess I'm out on him.

I took him from Waiver but in my 16-team/40-Roster-League every RB, who can walk straight is taken :D
My RB-Room is bad after all, so what. Especially after losing Akers.
Maybe Eno is a surprise... I will hope for it
