I would hold Johnson here. The 2nd round is not overly exciting this year and a future 1st is a gamble.

Picks for me

It's a fair offer. Value is on the side of the picks. But I always prefer the proven thing, and am high on Johnson.

If contending I might say Johnson but otherwise I'd go with picks. Johnson could take a value hit if/when Ben gets hurt again and if they replace him next year.

It's pretty fair all around, imo.

Its fair. If the pick next year is a high pick id probably take it. If it projects low i'd probably hang with Johnson. People worry so much about life after Ben, but he's got a skill set that translates to any QB. He's not some deep threat only who relies on bombs. He's more of a short to mid range chain mover than deep guy - and all QBs like that type of target.

Unless Johnson is a starter and I'm a super strong contender, I'd rather have the picks side. Especially if he's just a depth player. If it's SF or 2QB give me a 1st+ all day for Johnson.
