Anyone else notice that in the majority of recent threads where some posters are whining about Taylor’s name being brought up in threads that it’s the guys doing the whining who first introduce his name into that thread?
That do be how it be
Well Fred Taylor did have 11,695 rushing yards and was a very underrated RB picked way before these mullets so I guess he does deserve his due!

I'd also rather have Harris & Etienne over all those guys in PPR. In standard I'd rather have JT.

None of the other 2020 RBs equal to the 1.01 imo.
I can agree the 1.01 should be Chase.

Are you saying you value ETN and Harris over every RB from 2020 as prospects or right now?
In PPR yes but not by much. If JT were to show an improvement in the passing game this year, I'd have a tough time ranking either over him.

So ETN and Harris are your RB2 and RB3 in dynasty behind CMC? Am I way off here?

For me it goes...

Pre-draft prospects
Swift
Taylor
Harris
Dobbins
Akers
Gibson

Currently how I would rank them
Taylor
Swift
Harris
Dobbins
Akers
Gibson

Though that is solely how I would take them if you told me I had to hold them. Just on value alone though if I had the option in a startup or something I would grab Akers or Dobbins and trade for something worth Harris+.

CMC
Kamara
Cook
Saquon
Harris and the rest

I'm ranking with a PPR lens.

Although I don't agree with you, I appreciate your willingness to zig when others zag!

For me - I have it Taylor, Dobbins/Swift, Harris/Akers, Chase, ETN. And just for kicks I'll say Lamb after Swift and before Harris.

It is too much to call Harris the consensus 1.01. It is Chase for me. I wouldn't trade any of the RB's OP listed for 1.01 is a RB was my target

thebadferret wrote: Mon May 03, 2021 12:10 am Is it too much to say that Harris is the consensus 1.01 pick in 1QB non-TEP leagues? If so, where would you rank him versus last years RB class.

Y'all will hate me for this, but from DLF trade analyzer the ranking is currently:

Taylor 991
Akers 832
Swift 786
Dobbins 766
1.01 700
Gibson 692
CEH 628

So, the question is, if you hold the 1.01 (if you see another player at 1.01 please elaborate) which '20 RB would you draw the line or won't you take any. Feel free to answer the question the other way, too. If you have Taylor, would you give him for the 1.01 for example?
It is too much to say for me. Unless there’s PPC scoring, or non-PPR maybe, I would say Chase is the clear 1.01. I like Smith and, surprisingly, Pitts better as well.
Come to the dark side, join the no RB movement. I know it’s not a new idea, but it’s definitely one that’s been mostly left for dead or stuck in redraft only leagues. And It feels dirty at first, and can be hard to commit to. But with how highly everyone values RBs these day, it can be successful. Probably because you will be the only one in your league trying it. I have not adopted the strategy across the board yet, just started toying with it last year. But I did win a league with JRob and M. Davis as my starting RBs for the majority of the season, two free agent pickups that didn’t cost me a dime. I will continue to employ the strategy and adapt it to my other leagues.

Just shows you how being in a less talented positional draft can make you look better.' 1st rounder this year. Probably would've been a 2nd rounder last year.

I think I would have Taylor, Swift, Akers, CEH, and Dobbins still ahead of him.

for me:

1. JT
2. Swift
3. Akers
4. CEH
5. Dobbins
6. Najee
7. ETN
8. Gibson
9. Javonte

Pretty sure Najee would've been a 3rd if he came out last year. He improved a lot this past year. Now if he had this season as a junior and came out in 2020, he'd probably be right there with the big 5.

This is exact type thread one should look at next year to see how much BS we spew disguised as fact before the games are played.

I mean the point is valid though, Gibson is really really good but people use good games against bad teams to bash him, when thats the worst argument to use. Good players should kill good teams.

Anyway im not taking Najee over any of these guys, maybe dobbins, thats not a knock on Dobbins i just dont like the forever vulture Lamar being there, itll always cap his TD upside.
