Top 5 ypc for RBs in 2020 were 1. Dobbins (134/6.0) 2. Chubb (190/5.6) 3. Jones (201/5.5) 4. Henry (378/5.4) 5. Sanders (164/5.3)OhCruelestRanter wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 2:54 pmChubb averaged more YPC and was second in the league in rushing DVOA despite handling more carries.MFundercover wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 2:46 pm Sanders literally matched Chubb on the ground in terms of efficiency last season. His target share isn't going to totally evaporate here.
Sanders is good, but he doesn’t have the skill set to be a RB1 without significant receiving work. This isn’t some damning criticism, it’s true of most RBs. I listed Henry and Chubb because I think they’re exceptions.
I’m not panic-selling Sanders or anything, but I think pretending like this doesn’t matter is short-sighted.
Yeah, and I don’t think Sanders is bad on the ground. He’s good!MFundercover wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 4:25 pmTop 5 ypc for RBs in 2020 were 1. Dobbins (134/6.0) 2. Chubb (190/5.6) 3. Not saying hes a better runner than Chubb and Henry, but he looked a lot better on the ground in 2020 than people have been giving him credit for and it shows in the stats. I wasn't trying to sell Sanders as being a top 6 RB but low RB1/high RB2 is fair. Gainwell is a great receiver but I dont think Sanders targets evaporate to the point I'd fade him to a low rb2.
Not trying to start an argument or anything. Just my 2 cents.

Sour grapes would be me saying the Jacksonville backfield wouldn't be good for fantasy to begin with, and that I didn't really want it in the first place.Cherokee wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 5:43 pmHaha! Sour Grapes: A negative attitude adopted towards something that one cannot have for themselves
As in the Fantasy RB in Jax.
Yup, been thinking the differences in SF pick values are huge this year. Lawrence being the 1.09ish says more about what's after Pitts, the top few WR and 3-4 RB to me. After that it just feels like a decent drop to WR like Marshall, Bateman, E. Moore and then and even bigger drop to more QB, WR under 5'10 and day 3 RBkiller_of_giants wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 6:44 amin 1QB leagues, late 1sts feel really underwhelming.
