Roster cut advice please

My team is in sig.
My draft is coming up before too long and I am wondering what an outsiders perspective is on who I should cut to make room for my 1.03 and 2.03 picks. I will likely be passing on the rest of my picks.
So who are my 2 cuts?
Please designate who is the first cut.
Thanks.

10 team dynasty
Standard scoring (no PPR, all TDs 6pts)
Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 Def
2020 CHAMP

A bunch of interesting things here. (1) 10 teamer, (2) no PPR, (3) 4 WRs must be started.

QB: P Mahomes, L Jackson
I feel like you should sell Jackson. I'm sure you can get something for him.

RB: J Taylor, N Chubb, M Sanders, C Edwards-Helaire, J Mixon, C Carson, R Penny
Great group. Certainly have a few extra RBs here that should be looking to trade away for WR or TE help.

WR: T Hill, DK Metcalf, M Evans, J Jefferson, C Godwin, J Smith-Schuster, M Williams, M Hardman, B Edwards, D Mims, S Watkins

Great group. Love Hill's value in non-PPR. He may be my WR#1. DK is also solid in non-PPR. Even Evan's with his TD rate appeared to be more of a non-PPR player. I think you have some great assets here.

TE: G Kittle, H Henry
you have Kittle, you are fine, though I really am starting to get concerned about his injuries.

K: Stream
Def: Stream

don't care

2021 picks: 1.03, 2.03, 3.10, 4.10, 5.10, 6.10
Solid

Overall:
I get that you are in a 10 team league, but holy crap what a team you've build. Biggest concern is backup TE imo.

Back to your question: who to cut. I think the obvious group is WR and Penny.
Order would probably be Penny, Watkins, Hardman, M Williams, Mims, Edwards
Obviously you should try to trade players instead of cutting (even if its something crazy like 2.03 + Player for 1.10 or something like that.

For me 1) Penny and 2) Watkins. Edwards would be next if I had to choose a 3rd.

Nice team overall first off!

As for the cuts, I think you can lose Penny and Watkins pretty easily. If you want to hold Penny with owning Carson, Watkins, Hardman and Williams likely are not missed. Hardman has possibly been pushed off another year with Robinson being signed again and he may not be the piece we were hoping long term.

Talk to your league about adding 5ish bench spots from between the draft to start of season

I kinda like Penny still and he makes some more sense with you having Carson. Not a huge deal if you want to cut him, but my two would be 1-Watkins, 2-Hardman

I like this ^ take, assuming you cannot get anything for them in trade.

By my count that would leave you with 7 RBs and 9 WRs, vs. the 6/10 split you'd end up with if you cut Penny / Watkins as many have suggested. My arm could be twisted, and I realize you have to start 4 WRs; but having 7 RBs would be a nice luxury for a position that gets dinged up so often. In other words RB7 arguably has more value than WR10 despite the format, given your top WRs are so dominant anyway.

Someone who's willingly forfeiting draft picks after rd 2 doesn't need much help from us, or anyone else.

1.) Watkins, 2.) Penny

But like some have said I definitely would try to send some trades, consolidate some value.

I'd cut Watkins and Henry. I think in New England, Henry is a boom/bust TE with many more bust games than boom. You'll likely be able to pick up a starting TE for bye week a week in advance and not bat an eyelash.

Also, makes way too much sense to hold penny here.

you don't cut RBs in a non-ppr league when you can cut watkins and hardman first.

What He said.... Penny at a WR. Penny is nothing special and never going to be played with your lineup.

Cut Penny, then Watkins
