Team 2 in sig (1QB) which side do you prefer here?

Give: CMC Higgins
Get: Akers Brown 1.07

This is a tough one for me, but I think I would take Brown/Akers/1.07. Ideally, I’d see if it’s possible to remove Higgins and 1.07 from the deal to do CMC for Brown/Akers, but I’d probably still do it either way.

This is the kind of deal that makes sense to move CMC, IMO. You get a young upside RB, plus another stud in return. Losing Higgins would be tough, but AJB is a top 5 dynasty WR who has been capped by his offense to this point, that’s scary.

I would lean the CMC side because including Higgins makes this too pricey for me.

AKERS and AJ BROWN!!!! With 1.07.... Smash accept Higgins is nice but it's very possible they add chase or pitts in the draft and even if they didn't I'm taking this deal easy peasy

It's close but give me CMC. He's a true positional advantage at arguably the most important position.

I think the 1.07 might tip the scale, but I also don't really think that pick is that valuable in 1QB lol. It's a close deal

Big AJB fan so I'll take his side. Very close but great value for CMC.

I like these kinds of polls where there is some debate on which side people prefer instead of the ones that are clearly one-sided.
I chose McCaffrey + Higgins because for the referenced team, I think McCaffrey is a bigger difference maker and I would rather hold that advantage at RB.

I try to only post offers that are relatively close in value. Some of the one sided ones you see feel more like brag posts than people looking for advice.

I appreciate the feedback, and that is my reservation with moving CMC. I feel like my team can win now, and as much as I like Akers and AJB, the 1.07 probably doesn't close the gap enough for me to sell CMC while in win now mode.

I agree with this. And this deal is one of those that you truly could take either side on and not be "wrong". Part of me wants to take the Akers/AJB/1.07 side because of the youth, and proven ability of Brown. Then again, a healthy CMC is of greater value than Akers at this point in their careers.

If you weren't a real contender, and your roster sure looks like you are, I'd be more inclined to make the deal to get a little younger, and secure that extra 1st-rounder. But in your case I think you're already set to make a run, and shifting the deck chairs might not shake out as you'd hoped. You don't need to make this deal to improve your chances in 2021, so I'd probably hold.

FWIW, I think Darnold in Carolina will be an upgrade over Teddy. And I'm hoping he'll help improve the offense. If I'm wrong though, his play could hurt CMC moving into next season. Still, I don't think I'd sell on that possibility.

And you've got Taylor Swift in your backfield?! She's a BEAST in 1QB...
