How to value Kittle?

Team 3. PPR, 1 TE league.

I have Kittle and Waller. Also Ertz who seems to have dropped off. Big positional advantage.

A divisional rival (knocked me out in the semis last year, although the divisions are getting randomly relocated next year), wants Kittle. TE is his main weak spot.

His main pieces are Prescott, Taylor, Swift, Gibson, Aiyuk, Davis, Jefferson. His starting TE is Logan Thomas.

He made an atrocious offer. How far apart are Kittle and Taylor? Not saying 1 for 1, but positional scarcity is greater at TE and with 2 of the top 3 I am basically dominant there and have a few years over the Kelce owner.

Thoughts? Cheers.

Even with positional scarcity, and the advantage that having 2/3 top guys gives you at TE (not to mention keeping it from another league mate), I’d take Taylor over Kittle by an early-mid 1st value. Even in 14 team, I think it should take a seriously valuable piece to move off of Taylor for Kittle.

your qb's need help....it would take an overpay to get him....since you can play both...even more if any kind of te premium...

who are his other QBs?
You aren't going to be getting JT from him. He's also a competative team, you aren't likely giong to get key pieces from him.

They do need help. I'm intending to address qb in the draft

QB looks to be a need as others have mentioned and to help with the original question, Kittle + an early ish 1st might get close to Taylor. This offseason Taylor will be very pricey.

I’m not a fan of countering terrible offers. Maybe it’s just many years of playing in home leagues where everyone is afraid to make an offer but if he wants kittle he should make the first real offer. Sending a bad offer is his way of getting you to send the first real offer for a guy he wants.

I don't see a natural fit if your target is JT. Maybe Kittle+Mixon+Chark for JT+Logan+??.

If the other guy has a contending team, it makes sense for him to prefer the combo of JT+Logan over Kittle+promote a sometimes flex player into his starting lineup. If those are his only good WR, maybe you could slip a WR into the mix. To make it work, you need to ship back some RB help if he doesn't have anyone suitable on his roster. I put Mixon in there, but you should probably start with RoJo and see if he accepts that.

Without a TE premium, I would want a high 1st on top of Kittle, which would put me in play for Najee/ETN
