I traded for him in a SF league after the Cowboys game. I watched him for 2 games, and immediately sent out offers to unload him. It was so obvious, he isn't going to cut it. I had to get out, and luckily I did. Had him for 2 games.

I traded him for Logan Thomas. Now that Cam's back with the Carolina - Darnold has reached Josh Rosen levels of bad i.e. 1st rounder living off name and draft capital alone (for God knows what reason,). He'll probably bounce around the league on various benches with exactly zero fantasy value.

Maybe he'll follow the Logan Thomas career path and convert to TE

Or he could follow Tim Tebow and play baseball first!

Charlie Whitehurst and Josh Johnson should be Darnold's heroes, and embody his career aspirations moving forward. Hoping to bounce from NFL team to team as a somewhat serviceable backup QB who rarely plays, but manages to have a long career. I would think someone like Minshew gets a chance to start in the league before Darnold gets another one.

He's shown us who he is, and it's not pretty.

And I was actually thinking this change of teams and a new coaching staff might be enough to get him rolling. It just doesn't seem to be in the cards for Darnold.

To be fair, Darnold does appear to be mobile/athletic enough to at least consider the change.
