The rest of the schedule though compensates, featuring teams struggling against the run- Indy, Atlanta, Baltimore, Carolina. The back half of the schedule lightens up, as long as he is over his injury, Pickett settles in and the Canada fixes the offense.
Lot of "ifs" in there.

Don't forget Dolphins Week 7 (7th in Rush D DVOA), Saints in Week 10 (10th in Rush DVOA, and typically stout against the run), and Bengals in Week 11 (11th in Rush DVOA, least rushing TD's allowed, top 5 in a bunch of other run stats so far in '22)

But hey, I'm glad we've got the next 5 weeks of excuses already lined up for why Najee is getting out-snapped by Jaylen Warren.
Yep, I've been eying this midpoint of the schedule (combined with his camp injury) as a potential buy window. Just a question whether to buy the talent long term.

Regarding the injury- https://twitter.com/BrianBatko/status/1 ... 3574070281
Harris has been playing with a stilt/plate in his shoe due to the camp lisfranc injury. He just removed it a few *days* ago. Hopefully he's fully recovered.

When I posted the injury bit, listed the time wrong. I don't know the impact of the stilt/plate on his athletic ability, but the idea he's just become healthy enough to remove it is interesting.

Before the bye, Harris averaged 3.03 y/carry. After, he's at 4.62 through 4 games. 3 of the his 4 TDs this year have come after the bye. 3 of his 4 post-bye games had more rush yards than his highest rush yard game before the bye. Would be interesting if the foot injury was the main reason for his poor start to the year.

Post bye, he recorded only 1 target in 3 of the 4 games. That 4th game, he had 6 targets, 4 receptions and 26 yards. There's an interesting correlation with Pickett- his one game of low rush attempts was 2/14 when Harris gobbled up targets. Pickett's 3 other post bye rush lines- 8/51 (w TD), 6/32, 7/14. Warren has 6 targets in 3 post bye games played, Snell has 2 post bye targets, McFarland has 2, so it's not like other RBs are getting fed targets.
