NFL wise I am thinking 4-5 in the top 15; Maybe 6.
2 DB's are locks and 1 edge rusher for sure in the top 12 IMO.

IDP wise. None this year as it is pretty weak for D Lineman in 4/3 schemes if with balanced scoring systems. NFL wise DT is really weak this year. I doubt any go in the 1st round.

Not sure an edge in the top 12 is a lock

The 2 DBs yes though I agree. Parsons is more of a top 12 lock than any edge and not even sure I'd call him a lock

Farley (one of the top DBs) isn't even a 1st round lock anymore, he just had back surgery. It's a "minor" surgery as far as back surgeries go, but it's still a major risk to invest a first round pick in when you won't even know how recovered he is by time you have to invest that draft pick. Any spinal surgery is always a cause for concern, no matter the severity.

Yes I don't think any team in the top 30 should touch him

#31 seems about right for such a risky prospect--not a pick before

(In seriousness I agree he could fall into the teens but I highly doubt he gets into the 20s)

I do think someone takes him 1st round still, but it won't surprise me if he falls out of the 1st and taking him borderline top 10 would be a pretty big risk for a team that probably isn't very good. Could end up being a good value for one of the better teams later in the draft.

It’s always tough to mock defense but DB’s are really hard to come by and there are 4 elite IMO

Parsons lB could go top 10
Surtain is a lock top 15
Horn is top 15
Farley if medical checks would be a steal but could fall to 20’s (top 10 talent)
Rousseau looks to me to have top 15 talent

Depth at Wr May push up DB’s

Wild cards that could shock
Paye DE
Collins LB
Newsome II
Stokes
Oweh (beast workout)

There is no stud lock this year like Young.

Rosseau<<Paye

I'd be shocked if Paye goes behind Rosseau.

Rosseau is a late 1st talent IMO and I'm not even sure on that. He seems like who box score watchers love due to the sacks but the actual videos of the sacks shows a really raw player

I'd move Horn to top 20

The rest I agree (especially your non Paye sleepers because I don't see Paye as a sleeper--he is the likely EDGE1)

Hypothetically-
Jax- QB
NYJ- QB
SF- QB
Atl- OL
Cin- OL

Assuming Atlanta doesn't trade back (Denver or NE would be interesting), this scenario would put the last of the top 4 QBs in range for Carolina, and makes a trade with Miami at 6 feasible.

I really don’t see ATL taking a non QB at 4 considering the value teams seem to be offering

I think it’s QB or trade back

Dolphins are having themselves a fantastic offseason so far.

I'd agree that a trade is more likely than this scenario playing out. With Matt Ryan's contract renegotiation, looks like he's the starter in Atlanta the next two years. Hard to imagine a team drafting a QB top 5, then parking him on the bench for half his rookie contract. Various talking heads have said Ryan's new deal takes Atlanta pretty much out of the QB first round discussion.

I really think Atlanta trades back or takes a non QB. Losing Alex Mack and theoretically wanting a balanced offense puts emphasis on OL. I've seen mocks of them going RB, but that seems ridiculous in this draft at 4. Maybe WR/TE? Maybe a team wants to get ahead of Miami for Chase/Pitts? Years ago, Atlanta paid heavy to move up for Julio. Does one of Pitts/Chase have that cache? Both? Assuming Atlanta doesn't want to trade with a divisional rival, Detroit for Chase/Pitts at 7, Denver at 9 for QB and Dallas at 10 (Pitts would be gluttony of riches) would be interesting. Maybe someone falls in love with a certain OL and wants to vet ahead of Cincinnati.
