Tua not safe yet.
They wouldn't trade out of 3 if QB was in play, 6 is appropriate range for Chase/Pitts/Devonta, I'll be very surprised if they don't take one of those players unless Sewell somehow fell past Cincy.

I don't understand the questions regarding Tua. If Miami was looking for QB, why would they trade out of #3 to grab whatever 4th or 5th QB that falls to them at 6? Clearly, they are not looking to move on from Tua.

This move back up seems to be they are clearly either eyeing Chase, Smith or Pitts, or an OL.

Btw, absolutely brilliant moves by Miami front office. That Larry Tunsil trade may be the best ever and a championship franchise builder for Miami.

That’s an odd analysis. If MIA wanted a QB they would have stuck at 1.03.

I have a feeling MIA might be looking squarely at Parsons with 1.06 after the 40 he turned.

Amazing deal for the Dolphins. One of the most well run teams of the last few years in my opinion.

What's the Dolphins total draft pick count now? They've done an amazing job an acquiring value.

Also agree this means Tua is starter for now. Smart for Miami to trade down if they werent going QB

Btw, are there any defensive players in this draft lol I feel like I hear this board say that within the top 15 we will have 5 QB, 2-3 WR, Pitts, Sewell... That seems way higher than the norm

Miami felt like a no brainer move down. Not sure it was all that tough of a decision. If 12 was too far then they deserve credit to get back up to 6, but I don’t think the general concept of moving back was a tough one. It was in fact extremely logical.

Not really, especially at the usual Premium Defensive position of Edge Rusher. Micah Parsons is an excellent LB prospect, but he has some off-field concerns and LB isn't a highly valued position. It's a pretty good CB class, but no real bigtime standout and one of the top prospects (Caleb Farley) is having some kind of back surgery. This class is really strong at all the offensive position groups other than probably RB, but Defense is a little limited especially along the DL.

Great at moving in the draft

Less great at making picks

This draft is loaded at Edge, but I don’t see any can’t miss top 5 guys in it. Parsons slipping out of the top 10 would be a huge shock IMO. CBs are a solid group with 2 possible top 10 guys. LBs other than Parsons are also solid but not particularly spectacular. DTs and Ss are very weak groups.

Atlanta is now the key to the draft IMO

A QB or trade back to a QB needy team wraps up Sewell-Chase at 5/6

Panthers really get bleep over here

Panthers will probably be willing to trade up to get QB ... question is whether ATL will trade within their division.

I don't think the Falcons will

Imagine how bad the move from 10 to 27 with Mahomes on the board would have looked if it was the Raiders instead of the Bills

It gets a FO clowned forever if Fields turns out to be great

New England is another possibility

I do think the Panthers badly want a QB though. Either they double down on Watson or send a godfather offer to the Jets (which probably doesn't work)
