Per Source: Bateman ran a 4.37 hand time and a 4.39 laser at the Exos combine.

Hopefully he has a bad start on his pro day. He won't fall to me at 4 if he has 4.39 speed!

Damnit. Wanted him to slide to some later firsts early seconds. Homer Minnesota fan, this guy is good.

I love this player but this time shocked me , on tape he plays more like a 4.55 guy. Going to be interesting to see if everyone is running real fast at pro days , I think we might need to add a tenth of a second to everyones times across the board.

I disagree. I’m surprised he got sub 4.4 but he definitely plays in the 4.4-4.45 range. For whatever reason people wanted to flag plant against this guy. But he’s one of 2 can’t miss WRs in this class (Chase being the other).

Dang, Bateman was definitely on my shortlist at 1.06. I could see him vaulting either Smith (based on concern over his size) or Chase (based on reliance on physicality to get off the line vs footwork) in he NFL draft and/or fantasy drafts when the dust settles.

My WR2--even if it's a low 4.4 (which is more likely his time IMO)

I think he contributes relatively early in his career too

I'm in the camp that doesn't see that speed in the games and although I see him as a first round rookie pick in dynasty, I don't see him anywhere near Smith or Chase in the top of the draft. I see a solid WR that plays a little soft. I preferred Tyler Johnson to him as a WR prospect.

I mean this was a laser time, not hand times like pro days.

For pro days though I agree. Some people say add .05 for hand timed and some say anywhere from .1 to
.15 is more realistic sooo who knows
