Dynasty League Football Forum

So I'm about to start a new 12 team PPR superflex best ball dynasty draft. I drew the 1.4 in the order, so I'll get to pick any spot I want after the first 3 owners select. Interestingly enough, the guy who drew the 1.1 spot chose the 1.5 spot in the order. The 1.2 player picked the 1.1 spot. So I'm waiting on the 1.3 owner to pick his spot and then I'm up. Assuming the 1.3 owner picks the 1.2 spot (which I think its likely, to grab Mahomes or CMC) curious if you guys would pick the 1.3 spot or consider moving to the end of the round? Thoughts?

Well no responses but I decided to take the 1.6 spot. Like not having to wait TOO long before the next pick. So far the 1.1, 1.2, 1.5, and 1.6 picks were selected. Anyone have a startup SF they have finished lately? If so I'd love to see it. Hard to find many online...

I know it's too late now, but I always take the earliest pick and try to gain something to trade back.

I agree with that 100%, and years ago it seems like most owners would trade up. But over the last few years, seems every owner in my dynasty leagues NEVER wants to trade up, and only wants to trade back.

And sure enough, now that all 12 spots have been declared EVERYONE is offering to trade back, no one wants to trade up. If anyone wants me to post progress the draft starts today.

I find that most people say they want to move back, but few people can come up with the deals that actually make it happen. I've been in a couple drafts like this and still had no problem moving down. I'm also not afraid to move up if the price is cheap and there is someone I really want. My position isn't really just to move down. It's all about gaining value. It's just usually easier doing that by moving down. The last team in my sig is an example from a startup last year. 2 of those 1sts are 1.01/1.02 and all are top 10. I also have 6 2nds in that league including 2.01 and 2.02.
