Move Lamb?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Move Lamb?

Postby deadpool23 » Fri Jan 08, 2021 7:37 am

10 team non-ppr league

Was offered a trade but on the fence as they are risky players with upside.

Trade my CeeDee Lamb and either Melvin Gordon or Kenyan Drake for Kenny Golladay and Joe Mixon plus a late 1st (1.10) round pick.

Not a huge fan of giving up Lamb and tried to sub in Keenan Allen but no luck. Owner did come back with Golladay for Allen but lots of risks there as well with injuries and a possible new team.

Do either trades make my team any better or am I just reshuffling the deck with no improvements?

Thanks in advance

Probably fair value if you add up all the pieces, but particularly in a 10 team league, you need studs. And two years from now, Lamb will be the best piece by a large margin, so I'd keep Lamb.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Fair value for sure, but I would have a tough time moving Lamb. The value is absolutely there however.

Love lamb but lamb and Gordon for a Golladay Mixon 1.10 package, sign me up. Nice buy low on both.
In such a shallow league, 10 team starting 5 rb/wr/te if I read that correctly, age would be a much smaller factor for me in trades personally.

Smash accept for me. I think Lamb will be great, Gordon is very average at this point and will continue to split backfield. Golladay is high talent in a down year, Mixon should bounce back and last first as bonus....

I’m a fan of Lamb and would be inclined to hold personally. If you believe in Mixon and Golladay long term still, it’s an easy accept.

This was my thought. Sucks to sell a promising young player but to get 2 guys who could finish top ten in their positions plus a first. I'd take it
