Week 13
Final regular season game. Even in the leagues where I've locked in a playoff spot, seeding is still in play. Could lock in a bye, if things shake right.
In the NFL, some fun revenge games-
Dez Bryant against Dallas
Richard Rodgers against Green Bay

Re: Week 13
Oh, come on now. Yeah, you can dismiss Dez, but Rodgers has at least 5 targets in 3 of the last 4 games, and his lowest catch total was 2 in those 4 games. The two combined will easily beat more than 2 catches.

Re: Week 13
If I remember correctly, there was a thread in this forum centered around players in contract years and next year implications on them and players around them. Does that ring a bell for anyone? If so, any chance you could point me toward it. Apparently my search skills are lousy.
Re: Week 13
I did my own research on that subject a few years ago. There was no pattern of better numbers in a player's contract year. Not for any position.Ray Finkle wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:45 pm If I remember correctly, there was a thread in this forum centered around players in contract years and next year implications on them and players around them. Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: Week 13
Nice. Like any news, I think you just hear the big stories. Player X played his butt off and earned millions AND MILLIONS of dollars. You'll hear about that more than you do... Player Y played alright last year and will be signing with another team for less millions.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:50 pmI did my own research on that subject a few years ago. Could easily see Dez with a few catches against Dallas just becausePullo Vision wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:31 pmOh, come on now. Re: Week 13
I thought the same thing, but Ertz is back meaning Rodgers is going back to the bench. He could realistically not have a single target.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:31 pmOh, come on now. Interested to see if Isaiah Coulter does anything with opportunity this week.
Also wanna see Pettis in a new situation.

1) Coach said they need to be careful with Ertz and that could mean a snap count
2) Saw/read the thought somewhere that Philly could play more 3 TE sets when that TE trio is healthy. Given the injury/performance issues at WR, makes a ton of sense to get Scott and Rodgers on the field consistently.

Look forward to all the rookie WR games, especially KCC-DEN & BUF-SFF.
Will be fun to watch 'em all play - plus see if I guess right on my rookie WR3 start this week

Re: Week 13
Really hoping CEH, dobbins and swift sit in addition to Jacobs being out. I have little to no shot of winning (with Jacobs out and Evans, Godwin, and DJ Moore all on byes) and have no shot of getting a week 14 bye so having a healthy squad going into week 14 would be ideal... Let them rest!

Re: Week 13
I've just gone through my lineup and realised I'm sitting Michael Thomas, Miles Sanders, Amari Cooper, Alvin Kamara. Some because of no faith in the playcalling (Sanders), Cooper because of Balt D, Thomas and Kamara because of Taysom.....
Thats basically the core of my ship team from last year and I feel this is a perfect representation of 2020. Thats with Mixon and Sutton on IR and Godwin on bye.

Re: Week 13
Are you starting a blank roster? That is an insane bunch of players to leave on the bench.AussieMate wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 2:23 pm I've just gone through my lineup and realised I'm sitting Michael Thomas, Miles Sanders, Amari Cooper, Alvin Kamara. I say don't get cute; start your studs. Cooper I understand... Thomas and Kamara are in a divisional game against a big rival with a propensity for leaking on defense, I wouldn't sit those guys... Sanders is still a top 15 RB, unless you're loaded I don't see how you're sitting him...
