Assuming everything goes chalk and he winds up on the jets whereabouts do we project him to go in startups. I'm guessing early to mid second.

That's about where Burrow went in my experience, so I think you're right. Early- to mid-2nd.

Late 1st to Late 2nd depending on the league.

In my SF i’d bet he goes top 6. Dudes snatch up ALL the qb’s round here

He is a lock 1.1 in large SF leagues.

May even be a late 1st in non SF leagues with 12 or more teams.

He is a generational talent and those types go high.

Question was for startups, not rookie drafts. Mahomes is still going 1.01 in startups.

Having trouble thinking of 12 players I'd take before him in Superflex

I would expect Lawrence to go higher than Burrow went. There were still questions about Burrow this offseason, but Lawrence is viewed as can’t miss.

In a SF start-up I would project mid 1st. I would still Mahomes, Watson, CMC etc go before Lawrence. There's always a chance he bust.

For fun,

Mahomes, Kyler, Lamar, Watson, Dak
CMC, Cook, Barkley
DK, AJB, Adams, MT

There's 12, not saying I'd take all of them ahead of Lawrence. NYJ spot would give me pause though

This is good list. Saved me some trouble of actually thinking.
I would take all the QBs ahead of Lawrence plus Barkley, CMC, and DK. May also take MT, T. Hill, and AJB ahead of him.

I could see him going at 1.03 behind mahomes and murray.

That’s called burying the lead, sorry, i missed it. In a start-up, he’d likely go before i could get him. I’d take him on the way back late 2nd...maybe! There’s a lot of “sure things” out there to be had with those 1st 30 or so picks. And landing spot means a lot. Is he part of a start-up team that will win it all in the first few years of a league? Mmm depends on where he spends that rookie contract...

I took Barkley at #4 in a 1QB startup a few years ago and was laughed at . I’m feeling just as bold here. There isn’t 1 RB I would draft over Trevor. To risky to short of a shelf life not 1. Hopkins is older, Michael Thomas value is a little down, so there isn’t 1 single wr I’d draft over Trevor. Down to qbs. I’m taking mahomes, I’m taking Kyler, and I GUESS I’ll take Watson over Trevor. I’m taking the once in a lifetime QB prospect at #4 in SF drafts next year and not looking back
