hoping for another good game this weekend, but so far I've had no bites on moving

Probably going to hope he has a couple more good weeks before our rosters lock after BYE's conclude. If I'm in the hunt, he's producing, and I need him for my lineup I'll likely hold.

If I'm out of it, and he's looking good I'll probably see what I can flip him for. I don't ever see him as truly being a feature/alpha WR1, but he could develop into a nice WR 2/3 that you can plug in when needed. And besides, someone has to catch passes in NE, right?!

I think I like his prospects for 2020 more than I'd bet on him retaining, or expanding on his current value headed forward. Cam is locked-in on him now, but what happens if the Pats decide to move on from Newton after this season? A different QB might have a different favorite target.

Easy to see how he wasn't, but it's not hard to see why the patriots picked him up. He's honestly a perfect fit for the Patriots who routinely find these unimposing late round/undrafted skill players.

I'd imagine we should start seeing the "Meyers >=insert top 15 WR here" posts start popping up.

I'd be shocked to see that. I can't even get a late third for him in multiple 16 team leagues.

He's not fast, he doesn't run great routes, and he truly isn't anything special. What he does do is anything you ask him to do and that's hard to find these days.

Exactly why he can still be bought cheap. Not everyone is gonna light up the combine and catch one handed fades at 6'3 215. Meyers is just the kind of depth guy you want that others can't/won't appreciate.

With Meyers emergence and Edelmen's age/injury is Edelman now irrelevant for fantasy? I know Cam is another factor, but purely asking if the consensus is that Edelman won't return to a fantasy relevant role this year based on Meyers becoming the go to slot guy?

Bone on bone has me skeptical he'll be back, or at least anywhere near as effective as he's been in the past. I'm viewing Edelman as done, but my crystal ball is far from 100%.

At 34 I'm fairly certain he's toast too. Would hate to drop him and see him return to weekly relevance through the fantasy playoffs this year though

Told some friends he's the new Edelman over the weekend. Meyers is EXACTLY the type of WR that NE turns into a weekly stud. And just like Edelman, he's throwing TDs.
