DJ Moore worth in 2021 Picks

Just received an offer of my first (should be top 5), a late first and Hamler for DJ Moore.

I know Moore is a stud but we have yet to see that. Should I counter two later firsts and Hamler for DJ Moore?

I would pay two later 1sts for him but not a top 5 pick + another 1st.

No. I'd keep DJM. Two late firsts in next years class would be lucky to net a player of Moore's talent and production. Don't think Hamler will produce similar numbers, either. Keep the young, productive WR.

Original price is about fair IMO, I would absolutely buy him if you can pay two late firsts and Hamler but very unlikely that gets accepted. As a DJM owner, I would need a high 1st plus another 1st or solid young player(s) to even consider it. He's a stud, only 23, durable and showing he can ball out with literally anyone at QB. Not many second year WR's have 135 targets, 90 catches and 1,200 yards.

He is borderline ELITE and getting better and has QB.

Correct, DJM was the 16th overall WR in a PPR last year and was the youngest in the top 16 by a large margin (only player close in age is Godwin). He also had by FAR the worst QB situation over the entire season of the top 16, amazing he was able to put up borderline WR1 numbers. Slow start this season is an opportunity in my eyes, not a regression. And to answer what it would take to buy Godwin or Adams, the equivalent of three 1sts is the typical going rate on these boards - so two 1sts for DJM, one of the youngest and most proven borderline WR1 prospects, is by no means stratosphere pricing.

He was WR12 in total points and WR15 in PPG if you take out Antonio Brown and his 1 game played....at 22.

And yes, you absolutely should be willing to pay more than 2 firsts for Godwin or Adams. I think Godwin is 3+ and Adams is 3.5-4.

I remember when Adams had 1200 yards at 22 with a bad QB. Oh wait no, that was Moore... Adams had Rodgers and only went for 997 his 3rd year at 24.

I would do two late firsts for him. If not then I'm holding. Your team needs a lot to compete and adding 4 1st rd players and put your rebuild into the next level.

DJM is one of the most polarizing players I've seen in a while. Some people harp on any sub-par game as a reason that he's overrated and some see his production at 21/22 and think he should easily be considered a top 10 WR in dynasty.

It's worth noting that he was injured in week 16 last year and left early in that game and then missed week 17.

In weeks 1-15 before the injury he was 8th so a solid WR1 at age 22.

He was also 12th in total points. Also DJM had a better rookie season than DK in a worse situation, and DK is right now floating on a fairly unsustainable TD rate (1 every 4 catches).
