Capitalise on Chaos?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Capitalise on Chaos?

Postby Dunville » Mon Sep 21, 2020 1:34 pm

We all know the array of injuries we’ve had.

Team 1,

I’m a contender but I did lose MT last week. I’m not panic selling him at all. I’m not exactly super deep myself.

I know some owners are already panicking, I was wondering is it a time where I could sell some of my “bigger Name” depth options for a good return.

So I bought guys like Cohen, Marvin in the off season but I’m not against flipping them for a profit if I can.

Should I look to flip my depth for profit and play the wire in this crazy season or hold my depth guys because it’s a crazy season?

I would just let it ride. Your team should still be competitive even without having MT until later in the season. So nothing has changed for you imo. This is a similar situation to what I have going on in my team one with CMC going down. Of course if a nice offer hits your inbox I would think about it at that point, but I wouldn't be actively trying to do anything just yet.

Appreciate the response bro.

It’s been my sentiment I’ve been known as the tinkerer in the league because I make so many trades.

I’m feeling pretty good despite MT (I was salty last week) but the other main contending teams have also had major injuries, bar one.

Some of the middling teams I think are hoping to pounce so that’s where I kind of thought to tinker haha

I would let it ride. Depth seems like it's going to be very important/essential this year!

I’d go the other way. I’m cashing out on some depth guys and grabbing value. 2021 Pick value is probably the lowest it will be all year. Get multiple rounds.
