Team EMT below. Ryan is penciled in as starter for the year but getting gray. We talked a bit informally about a trade, and have some potential framework, but he would want more. As it sits:
Give Ryan, Get Minshew, 2021 first (top 2, likely 1 overall)
Would you give more to downgrade at QB? I have Tua waiting in the wings and the opportunity to likely draft Lawrence next year or trade the pick for a mint is tempting, and keeps my team young.

Your team team won the title last year and looks in great position to win it again. Why sell Ryan?

Just thinking he's probably at about as high as his value will ever be, and an aging asset.jenkins.math wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 3:20 pm Your team team won the title last year and looks in great position to win it again. Why sell Ryan?
Re: ryan to minshew trade
The values definitely there to do it... Do you think you could use this to upgrade back at QB? Maybe if Brees/Brady are on a rebuilding team, you can snag them for cheap and have the youth as well
I'm not against keeping Ryan either, your team is solid and he should be fine for a few more years still

Projecting a first that specifically is risky. Also, if things go as expected and the Jags are horrible, they'll likely take a QB next year. You could be trading Ryan for say the 1.05 straight up or something like that. Just something to consider.
Re: ryan to minshew trade
definitely a hold in a title defense with that roster.

This is probably Minshew's last year as the starter in Jacksonville. I'd hold.

Thanks for all the thoughts, I’ll hold him for now. Just trying to stay ahead of the curve on him. If Tua starts and looks good maybe I can revisit later. Trying to not just repeat but build a sustaining dynasty that is in the running forever.
Re: ryan to minshew trade
Hard to project a pick that early for 2021 but if the teams that bad I’m doing this and I’m very low on minshew. I’d Pull the trigger and make another trade for a qb.

Also concerns for Minshew after this season. If Jax is truly tanking for Trevor Lawrence it could mean Minshew is out of starting a job in the 2021 season. I’m cautious with trades concerning Minshew.
