Potential Hill vs AJ Brown Trade

I was offered
Give: AJ Brown, 1.2, 1.6
Get: Hill, 2.5 2021 late second and Penny

I don't care about Penny at all. He also has pick 2.1

What do you think about the initial offer? I think I might counter with something along the lines of either:

AJ Brown and 1.2 for Hill
or
Keenan Allen, 1.2 and 1.6 for Hill, 2.1 and 2.5

What do you think about the counters? Too light for Hill? Or should I just hold the picks and take JT and CEH and BPA at 1.6 (probably Swift or Juedy)

I'd counter with AJB and 1.06 for Hill and a 2nd, or a 3rd even. I'd be willing to pay AJB and the 1.06 for Hill though, if he rejects it, considering you have the 1.01 and 1.02. I don't think I'd go any higher than that.

I’d rather AJB and the 1.02 by a mile over Hill. JT and CEH are currently second rd start up picks. Hill is barley ahead of them. You should not have to add AJB who is also a top 24 dynasty asset, hold what you have. If you really want Hill, KA plus the 1.02 is solid. Ask for his 2.01 back though.

That is too steep a price to pay, IMO, but I should add that I am very, very high on AJB.

I'd happily pay a mid-1st + AJB for Hill, but not one of the top 2020 backs + another 1st + AJB as well, just too rich for me

It is. Aside from Zeke and Barkley, I really only have four WR2s, an injury prone TE, and inconsistent QB play. I might just be down on my team because I finished in the last playoff spot and was eliminated in the wild card. I should make the playoffs but I don't think it is a championship team.

So your team made the playoffs, with Juju having a down year, and with a bunch of young guys that are getting better, and you are going to be adding CEH AND Taylor, and then if you can upgrade to Hill on top of all of that.... I'd think your team would be better this year, no? And it already made the playoffs last year. I don't see how you don't compete.

I didn't have JuJu last year. I moved Hopkins and DK for JuJu 1.1 and 1.2. But I also picked up Sutton and a second for Mike Williams and Singletary. I was thinking about posting all of my offseason moves but was going to wait to see about this trade. I agree my team should be better but I don't think it is a clear cut championship team.
Also I know I shouldn't have traded Hopkins while competing but I believe JuJu bounces back to his top 10 WR form and I really liked the idea of getting the top two RBs (this trade was made before the NFL draft).
