Cam newton trade offer

Just had the offer of his cam newton for my Kyle Allen, Jalen Hurd and 2020 3.03. (1/2 ppr superflex 12 team)

My only other quarterback is Russell Wilson. What are your thoughts as I don’t know what to do here.

I’ve got the 1.03, 1.05 and 1.06 this draft so I know I could get (at worst) Herbert for my superflex spot but given lineup in signature I wanted to get three RBs

A whole bunch of meh. I would hold on to Allen, he at least has youth and shown promise last season. I personally don't think Newton will ever be a full time starter in this league again - It really boils down to how you value Newton.

I think you should just draft a QB like you mentioned, and sit tight.

Yeah I can’t see newton getting a starting job this season unless there’s an injury. Kyle Allen didn’t look like a long term starter either though.

Might go back with just the 3.03 pick as a flyer

I would've accepted as is. Allen is near worthless, even in superflex, and I doubt Hurd is at all fantasy relevant with Kittle, Samuel, and now Aiyuk in SF. I'd value Newton around an early/mid 2nd at the very least, so buying him for the 3.03 is insanely cheap.

I think this trade is a no brainer, to me, the only QB I'd love to draft in the 3rd is Jalen Hurts but he very well could be a 2nd round pick after today?

Hurd = rise of Deebo, Kittle + Aiyuk make it tough
Allen = guy simply evaporated down the stretch and killed that team. He'll be lucky to have a Fitzmagic type career where he could spot start here and there but probably no legit long-term value.
3.03 = not really giving up a super-premium pick for Newton

Cam's an interesting personality, but I have to believe a lot of NFL players would love to have him QB their team.

Didn’t even have to give up hurd in the end.

Final trade was his cam and 3.11 for my Kyle Allen and 3.03. I’m fairly pleased with the gamble.
