Still a late 1st for me. I could see him putting up top 15 RB fantasy numbers. Solid pass catcher in San Diego.

I think a 1st in the 9-12 range is fair. I think Gordon will produce above expectation. Just don’t see Denver paying him as much as they have to sit him and split the role 50/50. I like Lindsay but the money and Gordon’s ability seems to signal Denver wanted more of a load carrier in that backfield. Just my opinion of course.

Late 1st is fair, but I think most Gordon owners want more than that to sell.

I just drafted him at 7.12 in a PPR superflex startup. The highest draft pick still available was 1.11 when I was up and took Gordon. If that helps.

I like the landing spot

My projections are give or take
225 carries - 1000 rushing yards
50 catches - 450 receiving yards
10 TDs

A guy with a decent team offered me a 2021 1st and 2.08 this year. I turned it down and countered asking for his 2.01 instead of 2.08. He declined. 10 team ppr 1 qb league.

At first I didnt like the landing spot but I'm warming up to it. They gave him starter money and Denver always has a good running game and we know they want to keep that going to protect their young QB. I'm predicting 12 total TDS if he stays healthy.

Late 1st for me too, around 1.09 area. Seems like a crowded backfield because I don’t see Lindsay going away easily and Lindsay will take some of that early down work, so I think Gordon value takes a hit going to Denver. Good football move, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be great for fantasy.

I really don't like the landing spot. Denver really split the work load last year, if the goes from Lindsey/Freeman to Gordon/Lindsey with the same split as last year then I wouldn't pay more than the 1.09/1.10 for Gordon. Throw in the fact they will still have Freeman and who knows what the split will look like.

Thanks for your input. Looks like he's worth around a mid-late first.

I personally think he will be the main back & Broncos will use Lindsay less. Lindsay will still get some carries & used in space to create mismatches in the passing game. The Broncos needed a bigger back for short yardage & redzone too. It was wither Gordon or draft someone like Dobbins. Freeman will be kept but he is a afterthought now.

Lindsay being only 185lbs & can only carry the ball in one hand was a problem. Now they need a wr2 & wr3.

gracias.

I see Gordon being the chair of a committee backfield in Denver this year. Can be be a top 15 back? Sure. But I don't think he has the top 5 upside he has had in years past. Also, given the fact that he's a 27 year old RB I wouldn't give more than a late 2020 1st for him, even if I had aspirations to compete this season.

I’d say a late 1st. I don’t love the landing spot for fantasy. I think he will get the bulk of the work, but I think Lindsay is going to cut into it more than we think. I think it was a better real life landing spot than it is for fantasy.

It’s been back & forth trying to get a deal done current ask is:

2- 21’ 1sts for Gordon. One of them should be a Top 5 pick.

I think it’s too much. I’m only willing to offer 1 21’ 1st & 21’ 2nd. Anybody think he is worth 2- 21’ 1sts????
