Finally got out, eh? Good timing, with the Atlanta spot. What did you get?

Dealt Gurley and 1.5 for Tyreek Hill, Boston Scott (to handcuff Sanders) and a 3rd

I think he has an RB1 season left in him, but he's finished as an elite asset in dynasty.

I sold Gurley for Mike Williams and was happy to

The Rams were willing to eat the 2nd largest ever amount of dead money to get him off their roster, and Atlanta wouldn't give anything more than a single year "lets see" contract

You don't do that to a guy who has much left at all

Sig league, won in 2018, last year ran out of gas. Consolidated years of no picks to a bunch this year (Taylor, Lamb, Higgins) and just swung this to the 2017 champ who has the hardest division and wanted to bail on Gurley. My picks routinely fall 1.11-1.12.

Give: '21 1st, '21 2nd, Jordan Love
Get: Todd Gurley, Mitchell Trubisky

I bought Gurley this offseason and was happy to. Don't see much of a drop off at all tbh. I've done a ton of research, and it appears that most of his issues (and successes in the past) are o-line (and volume) related; the Rams o-line was hot garbage, and he didn't get adaquate volume, most of the time last season.

If Atlanta was worried about Gurley, they would of drafted an RB. They didn't even draft any legit pass catchers, so even if Gurley sees something like the modest rush numbers he had last yr (225ish), I think it's pretty obvious he'll get more targets...this is likely his floor (barring injury).

Also, everyone getting scared about Gurley's knee...most RBs are way more banged up than we are told. And most are dealing with some form of minor arthritis throughout their careers due to workload. This was made into a mountain by the Rams because they were scared about protecting their $ investment, when in reality it was nothing more than a molehill (as evidence by Gurleys success when he got more touches late in the season).

If you want a comp, look at Matt Forte.

After 4yrs of playing, the bears were getting "scared" about Matt Fortes "chronic knee problems" and his "severe arthritis." Then Forte went on to play another 6 yrs...finishing 12th, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 21st, & 39th (in ppg). So after Forte's "arthritis" became a 'problem', he had 4 more top 12 RB seasons, was a RB2, then a flex play in his 'senior' RB seasons...

Gurley can easily follow this same career path...this is a zig when everyone zags play.

Not surprising. Gurley is going to look worse than last year IMO. It's kind of the way it's going to go, I think. Really disappointing. He could have been one of the greats.

Meh, walking with a limp is fine. As long as he's walking/running it means he's playing. While we may no longer see the RB1 and overall #1 anymore I think he can certainly be a productive back. Its all about the cost of acquiring him.

His redraft ADP is 29. Still pretty steep considering the downside.

I think for redraft 29 is fine especially in a 1QB setup. Should be what, maybe 1-2 qbs taken, 1-2 tes, and the rest RB and WR? so thats about 12 RBs 12 WR if split evenly, and probably a few more RB, so he's being drafted as a high RB2 in redraft? I think thats reasonable. What his is Redraft RB#?

Just saw he's being drafted around RB15. I think thats a reasonable cost for him in redraft. Wouldn't consider him there I don't think in dynasty
