The passing game as a whole has gotten easier and easier which benefits WRs as much as QBs. Which is why WR is probably as deep as it has ever been in FF. I'm not sure the expectation for a WR needs to be "wait until year 3" anymore like it was a decade ago.
yeah i agree with this. it certainly seems a better explanation than "banged up CBs around the league", which is even weaker if you consider that many WRs have looked great in their first season in recent years, not just this.

Ugh. Straight up being out carried by Wilkins. For as good as the Colts O-line is, they are not good run blockers. I think I've seen 7 times RBs have been hit in the backfield.

Not too excited with this week's performance off a bye.

Well, JT was out carried by Wilkins because Wilkins was playing better. Also, at the end of the day, Wilkins was running behind the same line and totaled 90 rush yards at 4.5 YPC. Same Oline that Mack feasted on the last two years. Maybe JT just isn't there yet in terms of running between the tackles.

Didn’t watch the full game so didn’t see how he looked but hard to not be concerned at this point.

I guess the only thing I take any relief in is that CEH is somewhat disappointing as well... But man was tough seeing Taylor outplayed by Wilkins in the 2nd half today.

Very concerned of course. I’ve watched Wilkins for 3 years as a Colts fan and can tell you he’s a JAG. Those calling Taylor Trent Richardson after 8 games are victory lapping a bit early with what I think is a poor player comparison, but of course you have to be concerned.

I only saw a few series and you never know what the play call is but I felt like all JT carries were stuffed up the gut while Wilke a had more sweeps and outside runs. Maybe that was Wilkens finding the hole or maybe the situation 3rd down vs 1st down but yeah JT is disappointing so far.

Not an apt comparison.. But in comparing hype and today's yards per carry he's Trent Richardson brother lol

The first half neither really got much going. The second half Wilkins pretty much took over and Taylor had nothing but short yardage attempts.

I’ll hang my hat on something other than YPC after 8 games. There is reason for concern I certainly don’t disagree with that.

His vision is becoming worrisome.

Vision is worrisome as is his indecisiveness in the open field.

There is a very good breakdown here: https://youtu.be/TDSy_8BuUNA

I doubt this week looked much better.

I traded Kyler for JT and change In SF the week after Mack got hurt and I feel sick about it.

Imagine how the Colts feel. They just paid a 2nd for Christian Michael
