Higbee or Everett?

Which one do you think is going to be the guy? Or, is it more of a committee approach? I see a lot of the fantasy analysts have Everett well above Higbee, but Higbee was much more effective last season when Everett was out. I mean, he was dominant down the stretch. Which one would you target in TE prem startup?

I’d say Higbee as well, with tight ends it’s very much ‘what have you done for me lately’

Always follow the money. They gave Higbee an extension last Sept whereas Everett is a FA after next year. Couple that with Higbee's breakout this year and it's Higbee pretty easily....

That is what I was thinking, too. Good point about the contract. I hadn't noticed that. I just didn't understand why Everett was ranked higher on so many ranking lists. I thought maybe I was missing something obvious. Thanks everyone

After the way Higbee ended the year, I don't know how they can go away from him. Everett showed flashes, but Higbee was a different beast at the end of the year.

I'd lean higbee, but could also be swayed to pick neither of them.

Higbee should get every opportunity to be a big time TE with how he end last season. He went on a heck of a run.

Higbee >= Everett, since I'd assume Higbee is above Everett on the depth chart due to his late season performance. However, Everett was playing well early in the year, and if Higbee had gotten hurt instead, it very could've been Everett finishing the season strong.
I'd take Higbee in a startup over Everett only because he can be sold for more right now based on market value, but if I can get Everett a few rounds later in a startup, I'd much rather grab a talented RB or WR over Higbee and take Everett later instead.
