Moving forward, who would you rather?

Meh, I guess Pettis, but I wouldn't pay more than a 3rd for either WR. Both got benched, but Shanahan seems to still be talking Pettis up. That might not mean anything, but it's more than we have on Coutee.

The no. 2 WR position in SF is open going into next year assuming Sanders is gone, so Pettis has some opportunity. On the other hand, HOU went out of their way to trade for Stills to be the WR3 behind Hopkins and Fuller, so I doubt Coutee is going to be a big part of their offense going forward.

the doghouse club...
i had pettis over coutee at the beginning of last season, their value has plummeted in a very similar way so i'd still go pettis.

Coutee for me. He's a few years younger, at least, and has 4.40 speed.

Pettis if I have to choose one, but I don't think much of either one. It's like, would you rather have a penny or two pennies? Well, I'd rather have a dollar.

Anyways, Pettis was the higher rated prospect and was drafted higher than Coutee in the same draft. I'd rather take my chances with him if I have to pick between the two.

This thread makes me sad. I kept both of them this year (fortunately in different leagues) and rejected trades for them that I'd easily make now. I think Pettis has a better shot, only because I think he's more likely to be cut and latch onto another team. I think Keke stays in houston for a while.
