I doubt this season is really going to hinder the long term prospects of projects like Jordan Love. Hopefully Rodgers stays healthy and he isn't forced into the fray before he's ready. LaFleur isn't the greatest offensive mind, but he's got a long track record of success as a QB coach. He'll put Love in a great position to develop; the rest is up to his work ethic and ability to improve.murphysxm wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 9:47 amMaybe, but not this year. Not enough camp time to develop a possible QB of future when you have Rodgers in place. I think if you are a development player this season, you are in trouble

Re: Any love for Love?
I think Love makes the roster. I mean, Rivera literally just said "Don't sleep on Bryce Love". I think Barber gets cut, personally. As long as Love is on a roster, I'd take him over a random 3rd in that mess of a class next year, in a 1 QB league.Krypto_King wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 1:30 pm one good thing about Barber + McKissic rising from the UDFA ranks is they both have special teams experience so I don't think that is a concern. I hope you got that 3rd while you could.

So he makes the team but is a healthy scratch, with Was seemingly preferring Barber for his role. Is this something that could change or is Love droppable in shallower leagues?

Re: Any love for Love?
Considering that mckissick looked bad, barber looked like barber and Gibson looks like a superb athlete who doesn't have a feel for the position yet. I'd probably hold him in relatively deep leagues. But in shallow I'd take the shot on a lot of other guys
Re: Any love for Love?
He's my "hot drop"- if someone of interest is available, I'd drop him. Otherwise I'm trying to wait a week or two and see if he gets a chance and flashes at all

He's a guy on the RB carousel. He'll probably get a chance at some point as a 3rd or 4th RB, but in terms of fantasy relevance? Good luck.Kurt G.O.A.T. wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 8:07 pm is it over for love? he won't be seeing the field this season.
Could actually see a guy like him in the XFL whenever it comes back.
Re: Any love for Love?
I'm sure he'll retire from football and pursue his career in medicine before going the XFL route and continue chasing the football career. I think that's a likely outcome already and he could very well walk away from football completely this offseason.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:45 pmHe's a guy on the RB carousel. Re: Any love for Love?
Very true, I also remember one of the concerns teams had with him is that they thought he’d retire after his first rookie contract to go into medical school.bjd5211 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 03, 2020 4:59 pmI'm sure he'll retire from football and pursue his career in medicine before going the XFL route and continue chasing the football career. If football doesnt work out for him, he’s likely not going to struggle to stay relevant in the league
