Fair trade or not?

I have Dalvin Cook and I'm looking to acquire his backup Mattison, along with move up a bit in the draft. I have the 1.05.

The manager who owns Mattison also owns the 1.01 and 1.04. He also has Tyreek Hill.

I would offer him Mecole Hardman as insurance to Hill, and he would offer me back Mattison as insurance for Cook.

My offer would be Hardman and my 1.05 for Mattison and his 1.01. Is that an even deal?

Value wise this is probably close but personally i would not be willing to give the 1.01 with the trade at this point in time.

Not bad overall, but I would not move back from the 1.01 for that personally.

I'd value Hardman as a mid/late 1st and Mattison as a mid 2nd, so this seems pretty fair. Basically 1.01 + 2nd for two mid 1sts. I'd want the 1.01 side in a 2QB format for sure though. You can make the offer as is, but it might get countered with you adding a bit more to your side.

I dont think there is a chance you can get that deal done as is. The gap between 1.01 and 1.05 is pretty big, I wouldn't trade 1.01 for Hardman and 1.05 right now without Mattison involved.

This is nowhere near an even deal and has no chance of getting accepted, especially considering this is a 2QB league. The 1.01 is even more valuable in that kind of a format. I wouldn't move the 1.01 alone for Hardman, Mattison, and the 1.05. Even that wouldn't be close.

This isn't very close for me either. The 1.01 alone is worth more than Hardman and the 1.04. I don't see any incentive for the other owner making this trade.

This isn’t close for me at all...
IMO Mattison=Hardman

So you’re basically asking to for the 1.1 for your 1.5 straight up..
Even if you value Hardman higher than Mattison, there’s no way it comes close to closing the gap from the 1.1 and 1.5...
I think you need to add a bit

Piling on. I wouldn't move back from the 1.01 in SF to get an insurance policy for Hill when I can sell the 1.01 for much more alone.

I wouldn't even think of this if I were the other owner. If one of these top rbs go to KC, he will be the 1.01 and worth more than Cook and Mattison going into the 2021 season. Hardman doesn't move the needle enough to risk that to the 1.05.

As someone else questioned, what about selling Cook? Maybe for the 1.01+

What about if I gave up Calvin Ridley to the owner of the 1.02 pick straight up. Who has the better side there or is that considered fairly even?
