What rule changes do you guys have planned?

A 14 game regular season?

Nothing for weeks 17 or 18?

I was going to propose to my league making the 1st round 2 weeks and do total score. Less chance of some under .500 team upsetting a 11-2 team

Week 18?

Also, I'd never do a 17 game schedule. Week 17 is taken out of Fantasy for good reason.

We don't have anything planned, because its foolish to plan for something that isnt for sure happening yet

How would that be done? Home and away game discrepancy? The NFL is getting way too greedy. More playoff teams, too? Stupid. One of the reasons football is good is due to unfiltered playoffs.

Me neither, but they aren't asking our opinions.

I dont mind the extra game but expanding the playoffs is really dumb. The fact that it's so hard to make the dance is why each week is so special.

Ugh. Where are the sources? The only sports league with an odd number of games. That's a ton of neutral games. Where would they all be played? Mexico city the field is a joke. I don't like either changes, personally. More games is just going to create more injuries. I hope the players decline the proposal.

EDIT: one idea I heard was they alternate 9 and 8 road games every other year. That is the most bush league thing I've heard. IF the NFL goes that route, they will have become a laughing stock.

What would happen if the 2nd bye for teams was in the last few weeks? That would mess up the entire FF landscape. Typically playoffs start after the bye's. Imagine going into a playoff matchup with 4 starters on a bye....plus all the injuries that are typical at this time of year.

The NFL isn’t going to do anything to mess with fantasy football, trust me. The owners aren’t dumb when it comes to their money, they know where their bread is buttered.

Yea I imagine they would still all be done before the last month. It seems like it would be plausible though for a team to only play once in 3 weeks or something tho.

Bye game bye

I honestly kind of like it because I hear they will try and make all Thursdays games to follow a bye so there would be no 3 day turn arounds.

Ya, Fantasy Football is a Billion dollar business and a massive revenue stream for the NFL, they aren't going to do something that completely screws it up. The NFL may make a lot of dumb decisions, but they are very smart about things that affect the bottom line.
