Re: Darrell Henderson is your new 1.01 now.
What has changed since then? I think 2.10 was always too low for Henderson, I have seen him going early 2nd in all of my drafts, but nothing has changed in the last 2 weeks that should make people change their boards.

Re: Darrell Henderson is your new 1.01 now.
I like Henderson, I think perhaps he could bellcow in the NFL (he'll need to improve his pad-level first, though), but I suspect the Rams themselves truly do view him as a high-end committee-back (which is more or less what they've been telling us all along).
So basically, even in a scenario without Gurley, I suspect the Rams will still look to pair Henderson with another runner, with said runner retaining a signfiicant role. Maybe even someone as modest as Malcolm Brown.
Is that still worth the 1.1? Zierlein compares Henderson to Tevin Coleman, and according to the tale of the tape that's not a bad comparison, because the two players have similar strengths (e.g. big play magnet, runs with anger, can catch) and similar flaws (e.g. bad pad-level, tight hips, impatient and straight-lineish). Coleman's flaws have kept him from being viewed as feature-back material around the league, despite his proven knack for chunk plays. Will that be Henderson's NFL fate too?
edit: I should clarify I do like Henderson as a prospect more than I did Coleman, because unlike Coleman, Henderson checks the BMI box (comfortably). So maybe that can prove to be a key difference between them?

I like Henderson, too. I think I was the first to mention him way back on the "who are the studs coming in the 2019 class" thread, and I also think DD was joking about him being the 1.01. However, I really think that since nothing has really changed since the NFL draft, with Henderson or any other prospect, the idea of any player moving up close to a full round, or moving down a full round, or even half a round for that matter, is bad practice. Henderson should be wherever you had him on your board after you sorted things out when the draft finished. No player should be moving up or down your board so drastically, as there have been no real changes to anything.ninotoreS wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 11:14 pm I like Henderson, I think perhaps he could bellcow in the NFL (he'll need to improve his pad-level first, though), but I suspect the Rams themselves truly do view him as a high-end committee-back (which is more or less what they've been telling us all along).

Re: Darrell Henderson is your new 1.01 now.
I'm actively buying Gurley, if I can get Henderson for an early 2nd, all day. Not spending a first, thought as I play Superflex/TE premium almost exclusively, and he's outside my first in those formats. I quite simply don't believe anyone who has any real "inside information" of the Rams innermost working would be mixing it up on a Fantasy Football forum dropping enigmatic posts about the situation. Your posts are humorous and over the top on the subject, but forgive me if I don't believe you have any real insight into the situation as you claim to, because I don't.NoRiskItNoBiscuit wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 11:26 pm From an inside souce... buy now. that's about as detailed as I can be

Damn, in the leagues I have Gurley I pick 11th and 12th. I don't think I'm getting my hands on Henderson. The hype is getting too big. I expect him to be like ekeler, which would be fantastic for the rams.

As a Gurley owner I got Henderson 1.11

Re: Darrell Henderson is your new 1.01 now.
You're forgetting about the lost 3rd categorical archetype of bellcow. Pass catching specialists born after 1996. It won't effect the stated hit rate one bit.Cult of Dionysus wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 5:14 pm You know, if Hendy, Monty and Jacobs/Sanders all do well, then that will basically kill both RB reports.

I wish this thread would've been posted before I traded my 1.01 for Kerryon
Re: Darrell Henderson is your new 1.01 now.
Why can't fantasy players move a half round post NFL draft? You make it sound like the fantasy community is all knowledgeable and know the outcome of these players careers. After the top 7 or 8 players, I have the next 10 or so very closely ranked and debating which player to take at 1.10. Their draft status can certainly change from now till NFL week 1, if your in a league that drafts late.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2019 11:23 pmI like Henderson, too. Henderson 1.01 is tongue in cheek, but it's likely going to cost a 1st round pick for him now...regardless of the "expert" fantasy community pre and post draft rankings.

Re: Darrell Henderson is your new 1.01 now.
I was a little worried i might not be able to trade a couple of my 1.04s. Now, I feel a little better about those prospects.
