Been talking with another owner in the league and I asked who he is interested in and gave me some names, so I thought I would put together this trade

I give:
Karlos Dansby
David Hawthorne
Danny Amendola

I get:
Curtis Lofton
Jason Snelling(been reading he will sign else where)
Austin Collie

Is this a good trade, not enough, too much?

LOL... just noticed that this appears to be something you are thinking of offering.

Might be worth an offer with people having differing views on Collie. I think Collie is worth more then everything you are giving up in this trade, so you are getting a good LB in Lofton for free and Snelling as a throw in. However, I like Collie a lot. If the other owner is down on Collie you might have a shot. I have seen posts on this site that indicate that some people wouldn't even want Collie on their team (which I think is crazy, but they are obviously allowed their opinion).

The other owner and I have been emailing/texting to try to get something close, he is loaded with Colts players and wants to spread out a little - hence the Amendola part - I have been shopping him hard hoping to get some value out of him. If anything I hope he has a few good weeks to start the season and if someone's WR goes down I can sell him to them...hope it doesn't get to that point - would rather do this deal

I'm a big time Collie honk and wouldn't even offer him for Britt straight up in a trade I was told I could probably get Britt for him, so yeah, I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I'm sure in 6 months I'm going to look back on that and say "WTF were you thinking Eric?" but C'est la vie.

I am not a big collie fan, personally, but the addition of Snelling could turn out nicely for you. Lofton is a nice youthful upgrade for your LBs. This is an even trade in my mind, so if you like it, go for it.

While I´m not a fan of Collie at all(concussions).. the more I´m a huge fan of Curtis Lofton. He is in my top 5 of dynasty LB´s. And as to Collie.. I´d trade him away again, once the deal is though.

Offer 2 for me. Snelling isn't worth those picks, he's getting older, and not sure he'll be the guy where ever he lands.

Hawthorne is a key piece here and i can see his talents going elsewhere in the near future and playing steadily in the middle somewhere...great "sleeper"

I agree that Hawthore is a good piece, however:

picks >>>>> Hawthorne

No one will say that Hawthorne is worth more then the 2nd rounder at best (I'd say he might not even worth the 2nd right now), so the 3rd, 4th, and 5th are free in an IDP draft.

I could make a decent arguement that Hawthorne is worth more then Snelling, which is why I deal2 is by far superior.
