Was anyone able to catch the game? Just was wondering the type of coverage he was facing (did he face any press), how did his route running look, and how did his hands look? Trying to find a summary of his game everywhere or some cutup but cant find anything

I drafted him way back in August and hes been on my cut list for quite a while now. Almost cut him last week and thought well I've been waiting this long I may as well see how he performs. Glad i kept him

This. Coutee should have been a rookie-draft 3rd or 4th round pick.

He was very impressive at OTAs and some notable pundits -- e.g. Matt Waldman -- have been telling us all along that he's an ideal fit in Houston.

Bill O'Brien was the wide-receivers coach, then QB coach, then OC for the Pats right when Wes Welker was acquired from Miami and instantly became a chain-moving machine for New England. Now Welker is an assistant in Houston. Connect the dots: O'Brien has been looking for his new Welker ever since he took the job in Houston.

He whiffed on Braxton Miller (ugh, I liked him coming out), and Bruce Ellington didn't quite fit the bill. He appears to have finally found his guy in Coutee. Another Texas Tech 'air raid' product, maybe not ironically.

Also consider that Coutee is a deep-threat from the slot, and although that's something Welker never was, Watson loves nothing more than extending plays to throw deep.

Coutee had nine targets before Fuller went down, iirc.

Plus, at this point Fuller and injuries are like peanut butter and jelly.

Obviously, I like Coutee, but that price feels aggressive after just one game.

First I'd try to offer a 3rd plus some sort of throw in, or if you offer a 2nd, then make it like a delayed 2nd, say 2021.

Trying to figure something out between my 2nd and my 3rd that makes sense. Maybe the better thing to do would be to try to get Keke as a throw-in in a bigger deal.
