Where does it say he pulled his hammy? That just looks like a tweak to me. If you pull your hamstring you usually hit the ground with the next step.

I think he means OBJ hurting his hammy before the season, missing 4 games, then balling out lol

oh boy..... quite the parallel. I'm thinking he was being quite sarcastic. It is a bit of a concern when these young athletes come into the league and early on experience soft tissue problems. It isn't a good sign. Admittedly, it isn't a death sentence, but, its tough to spin it in any positive way.

I read somewhere once that when these guys are in Collage they constantly have someone watching them and making sure they are doing what they are suppose to do. Getting to practice, attending classes, going to the gym, staying in shape. Then when they get to the NFL no one is watching them, they have to do these things on their own as the team just assumes they will stay in shape. So the first year is hard for them as maybe they are not pushing as hard as they should. Then the injuries start to happen, or they are out of shape for the training camp and the season. Then they get a season in, learn the ropes, realize that their Moms are no longer there to watch them, and some of them learn the hard way that if they don't shape up quickly they are out.

I think it's also burnout from extensive training leading up to the combine. They are not afforded any down time from September until May, basically. I don't think it's because they aren't putting the work in. I've heard nobody question AJB's work ethic, ever.

Hamstring injuries are extremely common for rookies, correct?

It's the narrow hash marks. It throws off their stride.

AJ Brown - week 1 aberration or just the beginning?

Not seeing much being said about this guy. He was targeted a bunch, in a game where Mariota produced, even if he looked awful in the first half. What are your thoughts on AJ Brown? Was his route running what everyone expected? What do we think his value is in next year's picks?

Don't mind me, just bumping this cause I'm also interested in people's thoughts but wasn't able to see any of the game :D

I only saw the highlights of the game and his catches. Looks like a long run after cabin catch plus a couple decent gains.

Don't think this moves the needle for me. Still don't like the offense or Mariota and think this was a bad landing spot for him.

I'll keep an eye on his development.
