Would You Veto?

12 team PPR redraft league. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex, 1 D/ST, 1 K. 6 teams make playoffs.

My team is 3-0 with most points scored by a wide margin. Team with Barkley is 1-2. Starting Chris Thompson at RB2 (with Latavius Murray on bench) and Tyrell Williams at Flex 2 (with Robbie Williams on bench).

I offered him Golladay for Barkley, figuring that (a) Golladay is around Barkley in every RoS ranking I've looked at (actually higher), and (b) I will still make the playoffs with Barkley on my bench.

Firestorm of drama this morning. Several people have vetoed (but we haven't hit the threshold yet). It seems like a lot of people just don't like that it makes my team better, but also I think some people see it as unfair for the team getting Golladay.

Thoughts?

Don't play in leagues that allow voting for vetoes. People will abuse the process and veto based on what's best for their team.
