Mariota's picture is in the dictionary beside "Backup". Trubisky will start again for his own team, but 2022 will be another bench year in BUF for him. Minshew proved he is at least as good as Darnold, Bridgewater, Taysom, Cam and a couple of other guys. If they can be regular starters in 2021, Minshew can get a desperate look somewhere in 2022.

I doubt that very much. Not unless it's as a backup replacing an injured starter. He's just not good enough to be an NFL starter. He's shown that already. I just don't see any GM signing him as a starter. Unless it's a Glennon/Dalton type "he's the starter".

That's kinda why they're in the position they're in currently. They need to go all out with a rookie QB and not rely on journeymen.

Doubt it. Carolina has looked dumb trading a 2nd for Darnold already, they're going to trade for that bum next? Or sign him 2022? That would be the end of Rhule, if he isn't done before then.
