Problems with the others:

- People are stashing Thomas in what amounts to a chase after Olsen's past stats. I think TE production like that is a thing of the past in Carolina now, with Moore, Samuel, CMC all emerged/emerging.

- Same issue above broadly applies to Olsen in his career twilight now, ofc.

- Sternberger seems unlikely to be a viable TE2 in '19, sitting behind Graham.

- Warring might not do anything at all this year. He's a project, and for now Houston is happy with Thomas and Akins as stop-gap solutions at TE.
After Olsen went down, Thomas was TE6 for about 6 weeks. He’s my pick here. Olsen is done. And Cam flourishes in short to intermediary passing.

Big fan of Warring if you have patience.

It was more of a 4 week stretch (week 13-16), where he had two good games, one average, and one terrible. Way too small of a sample size to assume that he would be close to putting up TE6 numbers for an entire season.

Sternberger and Warring long term. Waller or Olsen this year.

I’m pointing out his upside. I don’t expect him to finish that high, nor did I state he would. But the upside is worth the cheap investment.

I get that, but you can argue upside with any one of these players.

Happen to have a source for that?

Just a random article so probably nothing but it is 2M in cap savings, not nothing like someone previously mentioned. Also, idk what TEN would do with 2M, they need a lot more help than that

Ian Thomas easily for a deep stash/long term upside. He looked really solid down the stretch.
