In a 1 QB league with 6 pts for passing TD, should I trade Baker Mayfield for a 2020 1st? I also have Luck at QB.
I fully believe in Baker, but even so, is a random 1st, likely mid 1st, good value?

I voted for the first because you have Luck. However , on an orphan I took I gave my 2020 first for Mayfield and had no issue doing it.

Repeat after me. “I will never trade a 2020 first that’s mid or any first ever in a 1 QB league for a QB.” That’s the rule that you’re gonna stick by. So therefore, If someone is offering you a mid 2020 first for Baker you take it ASAP. Also another tip, but if you ever want a different QB you rank your QBs in order of preference and then offer a 2nd to every owner of until the first person accepts OR you make another trade and swap QBs as a SIDE bonus in the deal (not the main part).

I’d get the 1st. People have been trying to move Baker in most the 1QB leagues I’m in. You’re not going to start him over Luck often and even if Baker progresses like we’re all expecting, his value won’t go up that much. I can guarantee that pick will be worth more in 10 months.

Take the 1st. The 1st will skyrocket in value whereas Mayfield's value may go up but the offer will never be huge.

I'd sell for that in 1QB, especially when you still have Luck and Cousins.

A mid 1st is fair value for Baker. Since you're already set at the position without him, I'd make that trade.

I made the trade. Now I'm reading that Baker Mayfield is the most popular bet for winning the MVP this year. And of course Luck has some mysterious injury.
Still not sure it was the right deal, we shall see.

If baker performs like I think he does it might feel bad but it’s the smarter move based on a positional value standpoint. Mahomes is the peak of dynasty value at qb.... he’s worth 2 firsts tops generally

I’m sorry but if anyone pays 2 2020 1sts for mahomes in a single qb league, they’re bad at fantasy football... that is all.

I sold Mahomes late last season in a 1 QB league for a 2019 first, R. Wilson, and Kenny G.

I knew I would end up regretting this trade...didn't think it would be this soon though.
