I’m looking for some ideas on what I should do in my rookie draft with this rebuild team. I started the rebuild last year and see it as a 3 year project.

My league is a SF, 1.5ppr for TE, .25ppc for RB.
I have 1.02,1.03, 1.08, 1.09, 2.01, 2.02, 2.05, 2.07, 2.08, 2.09, 3.02, 4.02.
In 2020 3-1st, 3- 2nd, and 3- 3rd.
My team
Spots Player
1 Hill, Taysom NOS QB
2 Jackson, Lamar BAL QB
3 Keenum, Case WAS QB
4 Mayfield, Baker CLE QB
5 Guice, Derrius WAS RB
6 Lindsay, Phillip DEN RB
7 Fuller, Will HOU WR
8 Kupp, Cooper LAR WR
9 Miller, Anthony CHI WR
10 Ridley, Calvin ATL WR
11 Cole, Keelan JAC WR
12 Quinn, Trey WAS WR
13 Valdes-Scantling, Marquez GBP WR
14 Williams, Tyrell OAK WR
15 Beasley, Cole BUF WR
16 Watson, Justin TBB WR
17 Anderson, C.J. DET RB
18 Bernard, Giovani CIN RB
19 Blue, Alfred JAC RB
20 Scott, Boston PHI RB
21 Dickson, Ed SEA TE
22 Willson, Luke OAK TE
- Bibbs, Kapri GBP RB
- Kelley, Rob WAS RB
- Grant, Jakeem MIA WR
- Jones, T.J. DET WR
- Kearse, Jermaine NYJ WR
- Griffin, Ryan HOU TE

Draft Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson. Then try to trade for as many 2020 1st as possible. It should be a stud filled draft.

If Kyler Murray falls to 1.02 or if Dwayne Haskins is available at 1.08, you could take a QB there, but beyond that I wouldn't reach for a QB in this draft.

The 2nd round this year is filled with great value at the WR position. You could take a shot gun approach and see if something hits.

If your not going to be competitive this year don't worry about your starting lineup for now and focus 100% of your attention on 2020. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply.

Are you suggesting to take Fant and Hockenson, 2 and 3 if Murray is gone?

That would be a bit too early for the TEs. In this format I would consider drafting them in the 1.04 to 1.06 range. You have a lot of draft capital to make some moves during the draft. It would serve you well to be hyper active to get where you need to be.

Your team has a lot of easy drops and already 3 2020 1st. If you could move 1.8 or 1.9 for 2020 1st Id that. Id keep 1.2 and 1.3 and draft DK Metcalf and D Montgomey or TJ Hockenson with these picks. Unless Murray falls. Keep your 2nd round picks and drfta BPA. Theres great value there for future RB2s and WR2s.

Thanks for your input. I have been getting offers for my picks but nothing worth wild. Everyone else in the league is hold tight on their 2020 pick. It may change when the draft starts.
