That was a profoundly dumb comparison. McCaffery twice finished inside the Top 10 in Heisman voting, was his team’s entire offense, and demonstrated elite agility. He’s an outlier who’s more similar to Marshall Faulk than CEH.

The issue with the comparison was based on the 40 time. Nothing else.

Obviously we knew there were major production differences before tonight.

We all know Dobbins is a good athlete. So with Swift and Taylor running 4.48 and 4.41 respectively, and Akers at 4.47, I think they did themselves well. Zach Moss falling into oblivion. Back to the drawing board for PFF's rankings.

4.6 isn’t a terrible time for him, much like 4.66 wasn’t for Singletary. I’d be more interested to see his 10 yard split, granted was hoping for at least a 4.55.

Pro day. He's probably high 4.4's, low 4.5's at worst. Just need to look at his HS profile and what he did at 202 pounds to know he's a good athlete.

I think he'd have been 4.45 or under if he was healthy and ran today. Especially since he's 209. U don't know why he lost weight for the combine if he wasn't gonna run, but whatever.

Taylor with a Barkley esque size adjusted speed score... Very interesting.... Can run, catch catch (not necessarily swift or dobbins at catching but he can easily perform on simple plays) .... Going to be a fun off season
