Deebo is the safest pick you can make outside of the RBs, IMO

Safest for what? To be a WR 2/3 guy? He definitely looks to have a low floor in SF but is he someone you want to use a top 5 pick on.

I'm at 1.04 in a SF... I see Murray and Jacobs as the absolute locks to go, and I'll take whichever falls in this order:

- N'Keal Harry
- Miles Sanders
- D.K. Metcalf

I'm hoping to get Hollywood later at 1.10, but I won't cry if he's not there. Incredibly risky pick now, given what we know of the Ravens offense and Lamar's throwing proclivities.

His floor is Sterling Shepard IMO, his ceiling is TY Hilton

Give me AJ Brown at 1.04. Yes the situation is a disaster on paper, but talent over situation. Greater ceiling than Deebo IMO.

Jacobs
Harry
Sanders
AJ Brown

I just moved my 1.04. Didn’t want to settle for a guy who I wasn’t sure about, like DK or Marquise, or reach for a TE.

Sold the 1.04, 2.01, and 2.02

Got the 1.01

I didn’t like giving up the three picks, as I was looking forward to scooping up value in the 2nd round, but it was a consolidation move as I look to repeat. Jacobs will be a solid RB to sit in my stable.

Good move! I'm trying to do something similar to get Jacobs. I offered 1.03 + Tyreek (I know right) for the 1.01. Fully expect it to be declined, but would probably be willing to add an early 2nd or some such.

The more I think about it though, the more comfortable I get with taking Miles Sanders and Montgomery. Both were drafted to be starters for their teams, sooner than later. Which could mean next year. Jacobs is the surest thing. One of them will be there at 1.03 assuming Harry goes 1.02.

That sounds similar to what I did earlier this off-season in DLF HOF. :)

Not a fan of Jacobs, I keep floating around:

1.01 Sanders
1.02 Harry
1.03 Brown
1.04 Jacobs/Metcalf/Samuel/Hockenson/JAWS/Isabella/Brown/Fant/Murray/Campbell/Montgomery

I have a real hard time ordering 1.04-2.01ish area

Clearly I'm not on the same page w/anyone here. I am not a fan of Montgomery or Jacobs and would be picking them more for opportunity than a belief in their talent, my preference is Metcalf, Brown, Fant, Murray and Campbell for Ceiling, and Hockenson, Samuel, JAWS, and Isabella for floor.

Montgomery.

I wouldn't take Hardman in the 1st at all, but that's me.

I can get on board with this. He's been picking up serious steam lately, rightly so. I don't think I'd take him any earlier than 1.04 however.

Jacob's talent isn't indicative of a 1.01 pick imo. I've seen guys like B.Sankey, M.Ball, Gio, etc all get over drafted based on perceived good landing spot, only to fizzle out and become bench cloggers.... No thanks, I'm staying off the Jacobs train. He is a mid to late first for me.

My feelings too. I don't mind missing on a guy like Jacobs if he hits because I just don't buy his talent period. Far too often when I've reached for situation it bit me in the behind, I haven't really done it since '17 and I don't plan on doing it again. If I like the talent and love the situation, then I can work with that, but otherwise, no can do. I just wish I could figure out if there's any kind of consensus on a top 4-5 or so. I have a bunch of 1.06's and 1.08's from trades, and I'm not sure I can get the guys I want there, but w/the talk of Jacobs and Montgomery joining Sanders at the top of boards, maybe I can.
