I know this topic has likely been addressed a few different ways on here, but who agrees that Todd Gurley is loaded with bust potential for 2019?

Watch Jeff Haverlack and I talk about this on the 24-Hour-Live Stream Marathon (non-stop stream) that I did.. Jeff was a blast to have on and he checked in a ton all throughout. I'd love to hear some perspectives and thoughts from this awesome dynasty community.

He was injured ... the real question is whether or not the Rams will be sanctioned for not disclosing the injury. When has any athlete ever gone from stud to scrub in the matter of weeks?

There's is less than 0% proof that Gurley was in any way injured and/or that the Rams organization was in any way deceptive, and anyone arguing to the contrary is enaging in baseless and wholly unsupported speculation and innuendo. The dude clearly declined and was outplayed by a far better journeymen back in CJ Thunderclap Anderson.

I don't think Gurley will bust, however, I do think they will cut back on some of his work load next year.

Yeah, enough with the conspiracies, already.

This is getting absurd, he's going to be just fine and everyone that's panic trading him will regret it.

I personally wouldn’t even give CJA for Gurley at this point. LA will draft an RB and also get Hunt next year.

Proof? No.

Plausible reason to think so? Yes.

An elite player suddenly loses his ability to play well and splits time in the most important games of the season. He had missed time at the end of the season with a reported leg injury. And we know that teams lie, or stretch the truth, about injuries. This doesn't mean he was injured, but it's not "baseless and wholly unsupported speculation and innuendo".

It all depends on what you mean by bust. I think if you draft him in a startup as a top 3 pick then yes he will bust, but he will likely still end up a top 10 rb this year, but he won't sniff 400pts again.

Who cares? Throw Smitty a bone. He seems like a cool dude and he’s put a lot of time into this over the years.
