Favorite Non Stud/ One Year Wonder/ Jag ever
Re: Favorite Non Stud/ One Year Wonder/ Jag ever
Julius Thomas
I had a killer team but no TE. I tried everything to trade for one but nobody was budging. I took the only starting TE left on waivers. JT ruled my team at TE for the season, got me to the playoffs, and then I traded him away for a future 1st. Best 1 year guy ever (for me).

How about Antonio Bryant 2008? He was always hyped, and finally broke out with a top 10 season once everyone finally gave up on him. It'd be like Devante Parker having another disappointing year, and THEN blowing up in 2020.

That 2013 season was the best. I had picked up Thomas in many leagues, then cashed out after that monster season.MEuRaH wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 7:31 am Julius Thomas

Josh Gordon won me my first redraft league. I started 2-3 and won 11 straight. I think I got him in maybe the 9th or 10th round in a 12-team.
Re: Favorite Non Stud/ One Year Wonder/ Jag ever
x2.. I drafted him in round 30 of a start-up the year he broke out and picked him up preseason in the other.MEuRaH wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 7:31 am Julius Thomas

I traded him + more for Lev Bell the next off-season.

I'll second the Danario Alexander call. That second half surge got me a bucket of picks next year.
I'll attack this from the other angle, though- for my sig team, guy rode Robby Anderson for the 2nd half of 2016 then cut him after the fantasy playoffs but before waivers closed. I scooped him up and he was critical to my 2017 playoffs and me winning the toilet bowl in 2018.
Another recent guy- Dion Lewis. Rode him the second half of 2017 while Zeke was suspended, dealt him last offseason for Corey Clement and a future 2nd. Those pieces were part of my deal getting Cooper in my sig team.

It hurts, but I might need to agree with you. I liked him pre draft, but going from Bortles to Trubisky hasn't done his production any favors.Weknownothing86 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 11:35 amI plant my flag in Arob being one of these guys for recent players.

Frasmin Jackson. Oh, that was a one-game wonder. This list could go on and ob with Rbs though. Zac Stacy, Denver Rbs (Mike Anderson, Mike and Tatum Bell, Droughns, Olandis Gary), Dominic Rhodes, Justin Fargas, and the Whizzinator Himself; Onterrio Smith.
